Uma Karan was a very relaxing place to stay during our stay in Bali. The staff were extremely friendly and very professional. They made our stay very enjoyable. it is quite close to the Seminyak tourist strip, but just out of the way so you don't have too much noise from the night life. They are very family oriented, they...

High quality at a reasonable price. Having stayed at a number of pricier (global chain) hotels on java, I arrived at uma karan and was pleasantly surprised by its simplicity, effectiveness and efficiency. With only 10 or so rooms the hotel is not suited to those looking for a big resort environment but I have no hesitation in recommending it...

But whenever you need something quick to eat or would like to go to the beach or various shops, it is reachable by walking or a few minutes of drive only. The hospitality of the...

Yet everything can be reached easily either walking or by scooter. The hotel staff were great and always very helpful. But what we liked best is the pool. It is such a...

Uma Karan is just as it looks in the photos - the pool is gorgeous, fringed with palms and frangipani trees with each villa room opening onto the pool. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom ensuites are light and airy....

First and foremost, the room was unbelievably comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the shower was spacious with great water pressure. The fixtures were of very high quality, and the room was immaculate when we got there. Each of the ten villas is pool facing, with a small patio good for drying off. The pool is...
