We stayed here for 4 days with our daughter and grandchildren and had a wonderful time. As well as being a beautiful place with comfortable villas and a wonderful view, Colin, Made (the owners) and their lovely staff are so welcoming and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is like being at home, we all felt so...

We hadn't stayed here but instead came to visit so my 73 year old mother and two children could see the great marine life in this area through their much advertised glass bottom boat. The staff at the Bungalows (it's more a beautiful resort with an incredible pool over a cliff) were lovely. It looked like a great place to...

We visited this place several years ago and decided to go back again - we were not disappointed. The separate villas have wonderful views of lombok and Ahmed its quiet very comfortable and the staff are just so accommodating. I felt like my wife and I were long lost guests. The rooms are large well equipped and the ambience is...

We were extremely disappointed by our stay in Batu Belah this summer. We chose to come here as we wanted to see the USS Liberty (great dive by the way :) but the hotel is not a good value-to-money option: cheap decoration, no service at all... All in all, we hated this hotel !!

Such a relaxing environment with a spectacular outlook. Best of all are the staff, so pleasant and cheery. Rooms were great too. Very easy to lose yourself here especially without wifi. Highly recommended!

Me and my husband spent 2 weeks out of our 3 week holiday here. We booked the first week, loved it so much we went back for our last week. Colin, Made their daughters and the staff were wonderful they couldn't do enough for you. We went on the glass bottom boat, snorkeled and had a fish barbecue. You could...

We stayed there as a couple 3 days in March 2015. The place is really beautiful with a very nice swimming pool just by the sea and a luxuriant garden. Colin and hiw wife are very welcoming and their staff is the best we found during our stay in Bali. This is a very small resort, just 4 bungalows, and...

I am not writing a review based on staying at Batu Belah, but I would stay there in a heartbeat when we come back to Bali. We aren't typical travelers in that our perfect day usually starts with us hoping on the motorbike at 6:00am and driving around the island for 5-6 hours before relaxing in the afternoon. This trip...

Our second visit and I expect we'll be back. Great little place perched on the hillside overlooking the ocean. Bungalows clean and comfortable, staff are great, nice, quiet and relaxing, and restaurant location overlooking ocean can't be beaten.

“All bungalows look out to the sea.”

“We stayed in Bungalow #3 which is directly behind and above the restaurant with ocean views out of two sides, and also adjacent to another property. Bungalow numbers 1 and 2 probably have the best views. Numbers 4 and 5 are joined and have separate terraces.”

“I think there are only 5 rooms, and they are all basically the same with similar outlooks. The rooms closer to the water front would be my pick. Colin and Made have built a very comfortable ,roomy and practical dwelling next door to their small resort.”

“For what you pay the rooms are excellent, you are paying three star prices so can't expect five star rooms. They are comfortable clean and tidy, but the setting is five star.”

“Only a few rooms - maybe 5? Ask for a free standing Bungalow for more privacy - there were 2 rooms that were adjoined.”
