I have been on the road more than 6 months now and this was the best Thai buffet breakfast I have had so far. Rooms are spacious and clean. Shower not so good and the Thai live music outside is quite loud but easy listening so it did not bother me for getting to sleep.

There are lots of nice Thai restaurants in the same street (mostly fish and barbecue) The restaurant next door "Walrus Pub" is a friendly place with decent food and a welcoming owner.

I booked this hotel without realising it is about 8 km away from the busstation and town. Taxi's and Tuktuks seem to charge 80-120 THB but the local bus (song tauw) cost only 8 Baht, get the white car with the big number 1 on the front.

Rooms clean, staff nice and breakfast good. Bit far from town is the only downside - but it is cheap for what you get and that makes the Raya Grand a winner. The Thai BBQ place across the road is good for dinner, just ask the staff for a few pointers if you are not sure what to do.

Stayed overnight on way to Bangkok. Good clean modestly priced hotel with larger than normal well appointed rooms.

Our internet booked package included free internet and breakfast.

Internet worked OK in room.

There is ample undercover parking.

Breakfast was adequate but more Thai style than Western and this also applied to the restaurant dinner menu.

The restaurant staff and reception staff are happy and cheerful and provide an excellent level of service.

We would stay here again without hesitation.

I've tried most Korat hotels over the years and always keep going back to the Raya Grand. Staff here are simply the most friendly and courteous staff of any hotel in all of Isaan. Rooms are clean, beds extremely comfortable (by Thai standards), and AC works well. Ample free parking with parking attendant most times. Extremely cheap and excellent laundry services provided same day. Good Thai breakfast, but they really need to do something about the horrible coffee. Fantastic "farang" bar with good food steps away, same side of the road as the Raya Grand towards Seubsiri. This hotel is a model of what Isaan hotels should be.

The hotel is not very well located but is still easly accesssible by car (the hotel provides good directions when asked by e-mail). Reception staff speaks good english and is very helpful - next to the hotel several good restaurants are available as well as an australian run bar (the Walrus) with good atmosphere. A good place to stop over in KOrat on the way north or east

We stayed in this hotel by accident (due to a few language difficulties and a haphazard tuk tuk driver!) After reinacting the spanish hotel scene from 'only fools and horses' with a bit of thai we checked in fine. We were the only non Europeans which was brilliant. Rooms are amazingly cheap roughly £14 for a double room and breakfast. It was a little far too walk to the centre but there are plenty of taxis and tuk tuks and the hotel staff were very obliging.

This hotel direction is not too difficult to find from main road but you would be recommended to be here with car or other vehicles. It is a little bit far from main street, there is not many places around which you can go there by walking. There are couple restaurants which not too far from the hotel, seafood restaurant (in the evening) and roasted chicken restaurant (in daytime). I came to this city just for my business, the hotel price is moderate, the room cleanness is not bad, a little bit old, and real cable TV (many places give satellite TV which only poorly programs). The breakfast is not too bad (better than have nothing). Overall is not too bad to stay here just for business but not for my vacation.

Raya Grand is a nice, comfortable hotel. The reception started by saying I may not get my wi-fi because my room is too far from the router...it was about 14 metres from the router...then they blamed my computer...and in the end it was decided the router needs to be replaced as even the manager, standing right in front of it on my floor, could not logon. The staff is courteous..the food is good...the rooms are big and comfortable. All in all, a nice place to stay but too far from the city centre.

The hotel is not in the city's center but not too far. Recommended if you have a car. It is a standard hotel of the bygone days, big concrete chunk, with a karaoke cafe. The room is quite spacious with basic amenity. Interestingly there are many electrical outlets in the room which you cannot find in newer hotels. Old aluminum-clad elevators. You can stay here just for nostalgic-sake.

There is free wi-fi in the lobby and rooms. The breakfast is not recommended. It focuses on Thai varieties which taste quite terrible and oily.

The best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff members.

Room Tip: Choose upper floors because sometimes the hotel hosts wedding parties.

"Get a room by the first floor router if you value your wi-fi...if not, it doesn't matter. They are nice, clean, comfortable rooms. The area is not so noisy but I had a room at the back and had fun watching kids playing football ( soccer ) in a vacant parking lot."
