Mango Bay must be one of the most authentic and charming resorts on Phu Quoc. Located north of the main town and 40 minutes from the airport it benefits from spacious lush grounds with little or no views of neighbouring hotels (except on the beach, of course). It is an eco-lodge with all the advantages and issues that you should...

We stayed at Mango Bay for 5 nights and loved every second of our tropical hideaway. It had a Robinson Crusoe feel with a dash of luxury. We tried everything. Yoga underneath the canopy in the early morning with the waves lapping the shore, swimming out and around the buoys (My husband on jelly fish patrol in a kayak!!), fine...

We stayed here 5 nights and had a great time. The ethos of the resort - supporting the local environment and people - is apparent throughout and well thought through. The staff are friendly and helpful, the yoga by the beach and sunset cruise being two of the complimentary activities we enjoyed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the...

We had an amazing 5 days at Mango Bay which was a brilliant way to relax and digest everything we'd seen and done in Vietnam. Prior to staying I must admit that I was bit scared about the prospect of wildlife in the room and the lack of air con, but on arrival these worries drifted away as you just...

When we first arrived at resort we were a little disappointed, but then we come to terms with what the owners have achieved being an ECO resort, we soon settled in and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff are really friendly and will do anything to help, the food is amazing and is on par with some...

Excellent all round!!! Staff were amazing and extremely friendly. The Plantation bungalow was very charming and faultless. We had a very relaxing stay at Mango Bay and will definitely be returning in the future! In fact I would say the best place I've stayed in Vietnam!!

We had a very nice time in Mango Bay, Service was top and the situation of the lodge is beautifull. They clean the bech many time per day, what is not the case by other one. Good access to sea and good possibilities of Activity. The room was spacious and we really loved the bathroom !

Like others, we stayed at Mango Bay for a bit of relaxation after a full-on tour of Cambodia and Vietnam. We were delighted with everything - the service, the bungalows on stilts with their charming semi-outdoor bathrooms, the facilities, the food, the staff. I would recommend it to anyone. One caveat - avoid the "dirty season" - early April when...

We selected Mango Bay for a beach holiday to relax after a busy tour of Viet Nam and we were not disappointed. The rammed earth bungalows in this eco-resort were comfortable ; the outdoor bathroom luxurious; the two restaurants very good and the service excellent. And of course lots of time to read and snooze in the shade of a...

From the moment you arrive, Mango Bay envelops you in a sense of peace and tranquility - no check in, instead you are invited to sit in the restaurant next to the water with a welcome drink... The staff are so so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are basic but stylish, and the outdoor bathroom just...

Mango Bay is tucked away off the beaten track, with Vietnam's first rammed earth bungalows, enclosed by beach and protected forest.
