This was our favorite of all lodges we stayed in Bhutan. The rooms were so comfortable with the electric heat but also the wonderful wood heater. Most of all we loved the staff and the food. The food is grown right there and the family all work at the Lodge so the customer care is extraordinary. We had our laundry... More

First off our room was Top Drawer with a tiny balcony and view over the bathhouse, gardens and valley - loved it. Again a top quality bed with great bedding. Also nice to have an option to shower or bathe. We also did the Herb Bath, and I must say it was a great experience to escape for 1 hour,... More

We are a tour operator from Denmark, and I have traveled with groups in Bhutan for more than 15 years and have tried a number of hotels across most of Bhutan. To come to Rinchenling in Bumthang is something we always look forward to. Really good, clean and cozy rooms, great service, and with owners who are very special and... More

Incredible food. Wonderful rooms. Amazing, kind, attentive owners who were there for us day and night, and were incredibly helpful. Magical, peaceful location. Excellent views. Reliable hot water. Beautiful herbal garden. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are large and very spacious. The bathroom has a bathtub (soaking tub) plus a full sized shower. There are plenty of electrical outlets. Their laundry service is very good and reasonably priced. The food is basic Bhutanese and is very good. The vegetables are home grown.

We stayed 2 nights whilst exploring the Bumthang / Jakar area and were not disappointed. The room was spacious and airy, the staff are all lovely and the food was excellent. Both are dinners were meat free but we scarcely noticed due to the variety and flavours. Breakfast was delicious both days with buckwheat pancakes, homemade bread, jams, locally honey... More

The staff of this place is very friendly and helpful. I stayed there for one night twice and they remembered me and what I liked. The beds are comfortable and there is free wifi all over the property, in the rooms and restaurant. The food is relatively good. They plant alot of flowering plants so it really brightens up the... Very tasty food, both at breakfast and dinner. Fresh organic vegetables, home made jams and bread, buckwheat pancakes, complimentary local alcohol,... Service in Bhutan is friendly everywhere, but Rinchenling even beats this. The wood stove, both in the room as in the restaurant, added up to the charm of the place.

What a great to stay at when visiting Bumthang. The rooms were very nice and big. The kids appreciated the living room with its Bukhari - specially on 31 December !! The food was very good and the homemade strawberry jam excellent! We will of course not forget the typical hot stone bath. When cold outside, it's the perfect place... More
