One of the most beautiful locations in entire Bhutan, it was love at first sight for us. The tranquility, the silence and above all the beauty of the valley was mesmerizing. Staff was nice, helpful. We stayed in one of the cottages, quite cozy. Do try the buckwheat pancake for breakfast.

Spent only one night there. Nestled in beautiful and quiet nature. The rooms are large, comfortable in cottage style. We partcularly enjoyed the little temple.for practicing meditation..The food is fine, On request, breakfast was served outside in the garden so we could admire the wonderful view early in the morning.

We loved our stay here for two nights. Up a 'farm track' to the tree line, Chumey Nature Resort nestles its suites comfortably into the hillside amidst the cypresses. Our cottage was double storey with a cosy living room, complete with 'roaring' electric fire, on the ground floor; upstairs was a super big bed with masses of warm bedding and...

Nice solitary place. Great location. Great cottages & rooms. Excellent lunch. Very cordial staff. Would recommend for those to relax . Not for those who need a happening place. Can go by taxi to nearby town for shopping. Also a monastery a few kms up to watch monals bring fed by monks.

We first checked into our room with our tour guide and the hotel manager (I think), and we realized there was a pungent gas smell coming from the heater. It was quite bad and the manager was kind enough to upgrade us to a double-storey suite, with a kitchen and a living room area.! The food was good and they...

Popped in for lunch on our route between Trongsa and Bumthang. As may is a holy month in Bumthang, there was no meat served, but the vegetarian options were superb. Pema took us for a walk around the resort, we peaked into the rooms and we've put it on our bucket list for next visit. Other commenters have noted the...

This nice resort is located on a hillside in the pristine Bumthang valley. It is great value for money. It is a five minute drive from the main highway. Offers great views of the Bumthang valley. The luxury suite has a private kitchen. There is a meditation room and even an amateur radio club. So while the place is remote,...

the hotel staff is very nice, but the hotel is kind of old with amenity and furniture, which was OK as it is not expensive place. however they were supposed to provide wifi, but they didn't. they said only places around bar had some wifi signals, which was very unstable and slow and often had nothing. it was frustrating. they...

This is a lesser visited place in the Bumthang area, infact it is the first of the four Bumthang valleys after Yotongla .Famous for the black necked cranes (though less than in Phobjika) and the Tharpaling Monastery and it's Monals. This place has excellent cottage type accommodation and their suit is just out of the world.good food good ambience and excellent...
