I booked this room sight unseen. It was the kind voice on the other end that made me trust my choice. I loved the southwest decor of the room, it was very nice and well appointed. Our bathroom was immaculate and we enjoyed our showers. The king bed was very comfortable and the heater kept our room cozy. There was...

Stayed for two nights in September. A Mexican style motel that was certainly adequate. Not new and the room looked like it had a kitchenette at some point. Room was clean. Shower worked. Also had an outdoor shelter for cooking out if you wished. Also had ice machine and washing machine. We were visiting the Combres and Toltec and would...

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Chama Trails before and after a hunt. The place is quite old but super quaint and always spotlessly clean. The beds are wonderful and the owners are great. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. It is one of the most comfortable places anywhere.

Beautiful place run by some wonderful folks! Room was gorgeous, clean and decorated wonderfully. Loved the fireplace, couch, flat screen TV and the outdoor pavilion is a great place to sit back and relax. A delicious dinner is right across the street too! We will make this a destination next time to spend more time and enjoy the train ride...

The room was clean except for the bugs in the room. The staff was very rude especially after I asked for a fan to try to help cool off the room. The room was #9 and was so hot that we could not stay in there any longer. 93 degrees in the room at 11:10pm!!! The night manger told me...

We stayed in this Motel in July 2015 on a 13 state bike trip, we mostly stayed at Best Western Motels, but when we found this little beauty we wanted to stay for a while. Our rooms were the only two rooms they have on a second floor. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the cleanest I have ever stayed...

The motel itself was very nice. The room was clean, nice modern rustic decor, comfortable beds. The room had a flatscreen tv & mini fridge. But 2 things made this motel AWFUL! #1- there is NO AIR CONDITIONER. After checking into the room late that evening with all of our luggage & not being able to find it, the office...

On a solo motorcycle trip through Northern New Mexico in early May. Pulled into Chama after about an hour of pouring rain and decided to call it a night. Found the Chama Trails Inn right at the intersection of the highway, looked like a nice warm comfortable place to stay the night, and my first impression was correct! Found the...

The staff at the hotel were wonderful to our cycling group. The rooms are quite large with parking in front of the room! So convenient. Our linen was spotlessly clean along with the room. I would always stay at the Trails Inn when in Chama!

The couple who own and operate this "mom and pop" inn are very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Decor was Southwest mountain rustic and well maintained. Only odd thing was that if you want privacy in the room from the outside porch you have to close shutters inside. No curtains or sheers. No biggie though. Great location...
