Came to chama with my 7 year old son to ride the cumbres and Toltec rail road, and picked this place to stay based on the reviews. It didn't disappoint. I would recommend to others as what seemed to be the best of the places to stay in Chama. Enjoy!

My family and I rented the cabins. I had a 1 bedroom plus loft. Everything was provided, including the coffee. On day 1, my room was very, very warm. The owner, Julio, was attentive and quickly responded. He opened windows, adjusted the air conditioner, and made the room comfortable. The following day Julio followed up with me to make sure... Made a last minute reservation, very accommodating. Clean, quiet room. Pretty and well maintained grounds. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Owners on site. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. We were concerned about noise outside, but it abruptly quieted down around 10:00pm. Checkout was quick and painless. There is a deck overlooking Rio Chama which provided pleasant viewing of the river. Unfortunately other visitors had left a bit of a mess the previous night.

Room was clean and comfortable, the price of the room was fitting, upon check out we had trouble with our automobile battery, the owners went out of their way to help us and jump started our battery. Friendly and helpful owners, the hot tub was excellent.

Spent the week here as home base supporting my husband's Continental Divide Trail hike in New Mexico. So peaceful! The owners are absolutely wonderful. Anything you need, they're right there to help. The small sized cabin was perfect. Needed to have the ability to cook my own meals and the stovetop/microwave in the cabin worked out very well. Larger units... More

We found this stopover surprisingly charming and comfortable. The wood furnishings and decor made it feel like a cozy lodge, and unlike a lot of other places we have stayed on our trips, these rooms felt brand new. My running friends found a visit to the outdoor hot tub a nice end to the day!

I stayed at a very rustic cabin in a neighboring property this weekend. When I decided that my dog and I needed another night in beautiful Chama, we found a cabin available at the Chama River Bend Lodge. I contacted the lodge to see if we could check in early. Not only did the very kind, helpful woman (sorry, I... More

I was upgraded to a cabin after booking a room at the lodge! It was quaint, clean and cozy. Microwave, coffee machine, toaster, all the things you would have in your own home. The owners work very hard to keep this lodge updated and pleasant. It is a dog friendly place and my little dog loved the sound of the... More

The little cabin was just right for three of us, visiting for the 2016 Annual Chama Chile Classic. It was warm and cozy and had everything we needed to cook our own breakfast before the races, and a great TV to watch football after the races. And we love the hot tub!
