Dallas and Nancy are wonderful hosts and the setting outside the city could not be any better. This is the type of bed and breakfast that you read about in magazines but never quite seem to find. The owners live there, cook the food, make your coffee, offer advice, introduce you to the other guests and make you feel like...

The hosts at the Chocolate Turtle were incredible, they were helpful and attentive yet not at all invasive. The food was incredible, truly a "dining experience." It was a relaxing environment filled with opportunities to make memories. I would not hesitate recommending this B&B to others and will stay here again at the next opportunity.

It was my first stay at the Chocolate Turtle & I can't wait to go back. Dallas & Nancy make you feel like you're at home with homemade cookies each evening. The breakfasts were some of the best I've had.

The owners, Dallas and Nancy, welcomed us when we first arrived with a thorough tour and explanation of all the amenities. They are warm and considerate and made us feel at home immediately. The Chocolate Turtle was a home before it was expanded to become a B&B and that is one reason it seems just like home. Our room was...

For our family reunion we stayed at "The Turtle" and filled it up with our children and their spouses. We enjoyed late night talks and snacks, a gourmet breakfast every morning together on the portal, and a delightful place to rest between activities. It was a week in heaven as we renewed friendship with the hosts of this charming B...

We stayed for one night at this B&B on our way to Mesa Verde. We booked the Bunny Room which is small with two twin beds and a small bath area. It was homey and comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast was served on the terrace and was delicious and bountiful. The common rooms are comfortable, but it is the...

On our return trip from Durango, the wife and I stopped in Corrales NM for a two night stay at the Chocolate Turtle. We arrived with a warm greeting from Barbara who immediately made us feel at home. Barbara gave us a quick tour of the home and kindly showed us to our room. Suggested restaurants in Corrales didn't excite...

It's amazing how "at home" we felt at the Chocolate Turtle. We relaxed on the porch, made popcorn, and watched movies on our computer (free wi-fi!) in the cozy Road Runner room. It was very relaxing and reminded me of going home. The breakfast was also delicious. It was the first time we had a frittata and omigoodness was it...
