I stayed here two nights while hiking the Continental Divide Trail. Very friendly owners and a convenient location. Really nice tiled shower, free wifi, tv, refrigerator, microwave, clean. If you're hiking the CDT this is the place to stay.

This was perfect for a one-night or weekend stay. The room was large enough for two people to be quite comfortable. We had a king-sized bed with reading lamps above each side. There were two comfy leather chairs around a small table. We had a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. When we turned on the TV, we were pleasantly surprised...

If you are headed to Chaco Canyon, but won't be camping, Cuba NM is about the closest town to stay in. The Frontier Motel is a great choice. No frills, basic accommodations, but it's clean, quiet, inexpensive, and has all the basic necessities. Front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. Great cable tv... I watched Phantom Menace the night...

Nicely kept but basic motel, nothing fancy but was a welcome place to stay after driving ten hours. It is an older family owned motel, clean, quiet with a friendly helpful staff that gave an exceptional dinner recommendation, El Bruno, which is an easy walk from the motel. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

The place was clean, the bed good, and we had a good quiet night. The newer rooms are across the street from the part of the motel with the sign. I believe he has bought out his competition. The shower was small and since we were only here the one night did not use it. WIFI worked and we were...

At a older property one expects a well used tub/shower combo ... MY small unit had a hand-work spacious walk in with plenty of constant temperature, hot water. As the nearby (favored) cafe was closed for a wedding The hot case at the truck stop across the highway served for coffee & breakfast.

Very friendly staff. Room clean, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, big heater for cold times, reliable Internet. Bring your own hairdryer. There are 2 motels, one across the street from each other. Yes, the only show in town, but thank goodness it is Aok. And the price is more than right. Great for visiting Chaco Canyon, "up the road."

The folks that checked us in were wonderful. The room was small and spare but clean and comfortable. There are no other choices in Cuba, but this was nice enough. If you're coming or going to Chaco canyon, this is your best, closest option for a room.

What a great place to stay I travel alot and am rarely home. I've stayed in some shady motels and this place is a breath of clean comfortable air. The staff is helpful. Rooms are remodeled nicely and relaxing. This motel is cleaner than most high priced motels, where you are forced to where shower slippers all over the room....

We stay here at the frontier every year on our way home from a fishing trip in Farmington. The main reason is to eat at our favorite spot El Brunos Mexican Restaurant. This time I was surprised that the rates were higher than the years before. In the morning we had no hot water and no one answered the phone...
