This is the 3rd year we've stayed and loved it!! It's by a little river, there are barbecue grill, picnic tables, fire pit and inside a small refrigerator and microwave and it's close to our cousins camp out!

We wanted to take the boys fishing and just needed a place to stay for a night. Booked this because it was the only place that had vacancies on short notice. The owners live on the property and were very nice. The location was great, about 7 miles from Fenton Lake and 10 miles from the kids fish hatchery. The...

The owners, Heidi and Dan, are amazing hosts. They rescued us and took us in after some bad weather in the woods. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable. Each one is uniquely decorated and homey. The location is great--next to a stream and centrally located in the Jemez Mountains and near the Valles Caldera. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here in November, 2013, and really enjoyed it. Heidi, the owner, was extremely friendly. She told us the best spots to go hiking, soaking in the hot springs, and was very hospitable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a microwave and small refrigerator in our room. We went to Amanda's Grocery Store and the Ridgeback Cafe,...

Closure to campgrounds and wet weather brought me to the lodge. The owners are totally awesome. The rooms are very clean nicely decorated each to a theme no internet nor ac. This is a good thing. It's cool if not cold at night and the fresh mountain air is wonderful No cell phone or Internet means just sit back relax...

Heidi and Dan the new owners have worked hard to make this place a nice place to stay. They have painted the exterior, interiors, replaced the roof and many more items. It’s a quaint mountain motel nothing fancy, but clean, quiet, and a pleasant place to stay. It has no AC but its not needed. The altitude was over 7000...

You think it isn't going to be because it is a "strip" motel where you figure you will hear every word from the rooms next to yours. WRONG! I was there with a BUNCH of highway road workers who enjoyed themselves outside until a decent hour and then were not heard from again. I didn't even hear them leaving for...

We scheduled a tour of the Valles Caldera in May, and rather than drive up early the same day we reserved a room at the lodge for the Friday night before the tour. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. The atmosphere is laid-back. The rooms are not elegant, but are functional and clean....
