I love this place. Our room was completely furnished for cooking and relaxing. The owner has a great heart. She said help yourself to my peach tree and also the crab apples. She gave us tips on where to soak. Yes her property is a bit cluttered. But she gets 5 stars for a clean room and a good heart....

I want to be fair about this, because from the reviews obviously some people loved this inn. Certainly Billie, the owner, is a good person and very fair and helpful. But in truth, the exterior of the whole property, including the office, is very run-down. Our room -- we took one of the $55 ones without a kitchenette -- was...

Stopped by this resort because it looked comfortable. Cabins (full housekeeping) evidently for families or small groups of friends. The cabin we got would have slept 5 comfortably, and had newer appliances. The kitchen area looked as if it had recently been re-done, and done well with real wood cabinetry (not pressed-board). The price was extremely reasonable, and we were...

I have stayed here with my family and children many times over the years. It has always been clean and comfortable. It is a little quirky but any time that I have ever been there and had a problem it has been taken care of immediately. Billy is always on hand and if she is not, there is someone else...

Billie, the owner was very friendly and approachable. While the grounds were not very inviting, we were pleasantly surprised by the updated rooms with kitchenettes. Very clean inside. Wi-fi and cell phone connection was a little spotty......but hey, you're in a canyon. Restaurant was in easy walking distance as well as a few local merchants. I will certainly look into...

I stayed at this property and was not impressed. When I payed for the room I had to go into the owner's kitchen where there were two people smoking and dirty dishes and food everywhere. The room smelled like cat urn. When I left I noticed that I left my GPS in the room. When I called Billie told me...

On our 3 trips to New Mexico in the past 3 years, we have stayed at several motels and inns and liked almost every one. Jemez Canyon Inn stands out as the best. It's unpretentious, not for someone who travels in order to enjoy luxurious surroundings but to be comfortable, close to nature, get some tranquility. The conveniences are there,...

This IS a funky place. In a good, New Mexico way. We loved staying here. Fully equipped kitchen, clean, very comfortable beds, even if the shower was rather small. The wi-fi was down that weekend, which actually turned out to be helpful in getting us unplugged and relaxed. The breakfast cafe just down the road had internet, anyway. The proprietor...

Yes, you can do better, but why? I am a native New Mexican who doesn't need the fancy lodges with facials, mud packs and catered breakfast. I go to the Jemez to relax, walk, hike, bicycle and enjoy the scenery. I don't need a $179 a night lodge for a couple a nights. If you can and prefer to pay...
