Relaxing, rejuvenating, romantic experience. We hiked, soaked in mineral baths, splurged with a massage, practiced yoga, ate in the restaurant, and sat in awe gazing at the night sky....all beautiful and wonderful.

This is an interesting place. First and foremost the springs/pools are fabulous. No two ways about it. However, like the dramatic, varying New Mexico terrain itself, Ojo Caliente is a place of extremes. On one hand peaceful and lovely. On the other hand: icky and sketched-out. I will give you both sides, and you'll have to decide what's right for...

First time to Ojo, was very relaxing, lots of different pools to enjoy with hot and dry sauna. Hammocks were great for a nap, all for $20 a person a day! Will be back on next trip to New Mexico! Mountain views were awesome!

I took my 15 year old daughter for some quality mother/daughter time and some spring break relaxation. We stayed in the historic hotel. It's old but quaint and charming. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was small and there was only a half bath (a sink and toilet), but it was no problem showering in...

My daughter and I stayed in a Plaza Suite for two nights. Having stayed in the North Cottages last year, we definitely preferred the Plaza Suites. The rooms were a bit larger although the furnishings were similar in both. Having access to the Kiva Pool just for the suite guests right out the back door was a real perk. The...

We rented the Plaza suite. The room was very nice with a small kitchenette and gave us access to a private pool that only suite guests have access to. The grounds are lovely with southwestern desert landscape and all the soaking mineral pools are wonderful. We enjoyed wine and cheese that we had brought along for dinner and went back...

We love Ojo- such a fun place to go and spend the day relaxing in the many mineral baths! The mud bath is a fun novelty as well. We even rented a private tub with a pinon fireplace. It was fun to get away from the crowd and enjoy the family there. We stayed overnight for the first time and...

We took our 16 & 13 year old girls. We got there at 8 pm and stayed until it closed at 10 pm and only went to soak in the springs, not to stay at the hotel. DO NOT TAKE TEH SOUTHERN ROUTE on the map, go by way of the gorge and come south because the most southern route...

My college roomie and I spent spring break in Taos and decided to drive over for the afternoon. The time spent at the springs was completely worth it. The parking lot was pretty full thus leading to the pools being pretty full but it did not deter us from finding spots to relax. We took advantage of renting a private...

Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs is one of the oldest natural health resorts in the country. Our sulphur-free, geothermal mineral waters have flowed from a subterranean volcanic aquifer for thousands of years. Over 100,000 gallons per day come to the surface, revitalizing those who soak in the long believed, healing waters. We offer a variety of lodging accommodations, including new enchanting suites and charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments and private outdoor pools before you arrive. We also offer spa treatments, pools, hiking and biking trails, a wine bar and lounge and a full-service restaurant. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Heal yourself body and soul with a retreat to Ojo.
