Ojo Caliente is beautiful hour-long drive from Santa Fe. The Spa is rustic and inviting. We got day passes to the mineral springs and enjoyed going from pool to pool. The "mud" pool has a fountain next to it for you to apply the thin silt to your face and body, but the mud pool itself is really just silty...

We stopped by here on the drive from Denver to Santa Fe. It was pretty fun, but quite crowded. I would want to go back on a day that wasn't crowded and stay the night so I could really enjoy and relax.

I love this place any time I can get up to northern New Mexico I am there. They are very pushy on being quiet. With me not being a super quiet person I kind of got in trouble about it all. However after speaking to a manager about how I was treated by an employer I received the best accommodations....

We planned our second trip to Ojo for February 2017 to celebrate my husbands 65th birthday. We booked the Couples Romance Retreat package, which included two 50-minute massages. When I called a few days later to schedule the massages, I requested an upgrade (at our expense, of course) to a 90-minute massage. Much to my surprise, I was told that...

We stayed for 2 nights after a ski trip. Our bodies sore and this place was perfect. We stayed in a plaza suite. I highly recommend it bc you get extra hours in a spring specifically for suites only. My fav pools were the iron and lithia. The mud pool was wonderful too. We will definitely go back. This time...

This place is amazing! It's out in the middle of nowhere. I liked that bc of the calming effect it had on my workaholic hubby. We stayed in the plaza suites and our room was immaculate. We had extra hours in the private pool for suites and we used it night and day. We had our college kids with us...

If I could give 0 rating....I would. I was taken here for my birthday, and I had a HORRIBLE experience! The room was $250.00 a night, and the robes, in the room, were stained, and full of pin holes....disgusting! The staff was 'to busy' to show us around, even though we were the only 2 people checking in. We signed...

I have been visiting the springs at Ojo Caliente for 30 years, and have watched it grow from a small funky hot springs into a full service resort. The options of what to do while you're there have developed also. You can attend yoga classes, hike to ruins or a mica cave on a plateau above the pools, partake in...

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Ojo Caliente before. We've stayed there several times, and try to get there at least once a year. The rooms are beautifully appointed and clean, the staff is friendly and unobtrusive, and the front desk responsive enough. The gift shop is fun - we always spend a little too much money there. There are...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs is one of the oldest natural health resorts in the country. Our sulphur-free, geothermal mineral waters have flowed from a subterranean volcanic aquifer for thousands of years. Over 100,000 gallons per day come to the surface, revitalizing those who soak in the long believed, healing waters. We offer a variety of lodging accommodations, including new enchanting suites and charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments and private outdoor pools before you arrive. We also offer spa treatments, pools, hiking and biking trails, a wine bar and lounge and a full-service restaurant. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Heal yourself body and soul with a retreat to Ojo.
