We arrived at 9PM with snow falling and without reservations. The Inn is owned by Pam & Dave and they opened up and welcomed us to their lovely place. Dave walked us to our cabin named "Coyote" and turned on the lights and furnace. It was so cozy we ended up staying a second night. The Inn is pet friendly... More

We stayed here during an unfortunate emergency. I want to take a minute and say that it was clean, cozy and comfortable during the brief stay we had there. I read a review here that cut it to pieces and I have to say this was NOT our experience at all. I would give this roadside inn a perfectly fine... More

I booked the Chama room. This room in particular is on the end facing a road with a lot of traffic. Very noisy. The bathroom was very small and looked dangerous to even shower in. The room is dark and did not look to be vey clean. When I walked in the room, I decided I was not going to... More

No services, Don't expect any services, Internet, cell phone, housekeeping, or guest services. The room was quite small and in disrepair. Holes and water damage in the walls, a paucity of electrical outlets, one even being open without a face plate. Had to dispose of my own trash for fear of attracting more bugs. Afraid of using the shower, 2... More

Nice quiet and cute. Our room was pretty dark, no microwave like I thought they said it had but no biggie. Check in is from 3-6, we missed it and had a bit of a hard time checking in but still, not a problem. Across the road from a pizza and salad and sandwich place ad walking distance to a... More

Although I have been visiting Ojo Caliente for years, this was my first time spending a few days at the Taos Trail Inn. I had the good fortune to meet Pam and Dave, the owners, down in ABQ back in June and learned they have some great jazz going on there on Friday and Saturday evenings. This property can most... Wonderful place with wonderful owners. The cabins are small, and they ARE cabins. They seems to be constantly remodeling and improving. The owners also own the restaurant next door, and they also play in the band. The wife is the lead singer and the husband the drummer. Wonderful couple! Much cheaper than Ojo Caliente and the food in the restaurant... More

This is a super cozy place just a few minutes walk from the hot springs...and several hundred $$$ cheaper than staying on site. The rooms are spacious, they have a fridge and microwave, the location is perfect, and the owners are as friendly and helpful as you'll ever meet on your life. I can say no more, highly recommended.

We stayed in April. Right on the highway, so beware of that. But, not tons of traffic and only a two-lane highway so traffic wasn't too much of a nuisance, at least this time of year. . Cross the highway about a quarter mile are the Ojo Caliente hot springs, so very convenient. We stayed here because the resort was... More
