This is a truly special and inspired array of cozy cabins in the woods. This place is quiet, clean and romantic. Most of the cabins have lovely working fireplaces, private balconies with forest views, and charcoal grills. Some have full kitchens, others have a microwave...More
We arrived later in the evening and had a bit of trouble finding the place, but during the day is not a problem. The cabins are cozy, and the warmth inside was not a problem. All basic amenities are supplied, and the beds are very...More
A pleasant surprise back in the woods. Actually, it is on the edge of the Gila National Forest Wilderness Area, so you expect it to be in the wild. The cabins are nicely furnished and are very nicely placed, so there is natural privacy. The...More
We stayed at Bear Creek for the second time and really enjoyed our cabin. The cabins are not fancy, but they are charming and this is a great place to unwind. Our cabin had a full wood box so we could have a fire every...More

Bear Creek Cabins are not only in the woods, they're deep in the woods, and as in any environment of this nature, you're going to find spiders and such little critters. Spiders get into all of our homes, everywhere, I think that it might be more of a shock to you because it's not your home, it's a new unusual place, and anything such as that stands out. Spiders look for warm places, it's good to be aware of them, to take precautions, but I assure you, as good as house keeping is, they're going to come right back in. It's the same as hiking on a trail, you're going to run into snakes, this is all part of the wilderness experience. This isn't a city, where things are supposed to be sanitary, though having said that these are beautiful cabins with beautiful views, leave the critters alone, and they won't bother you ... if that doesn't work, and you're aware that you might run into a critter of this type, there's alway the standby rolled up newspaper. Don't let a little thing like this ruin a splendid time.
All the cabins we stayed in had 2 bedroom, each with a queen & king sized bed.
