We visited Rancho Jacona for the first time in 2011. Then again in 2012. And now again in 2016. It's just as charming as ever, and bringing our toddler there for the first time was a real treat. If you've never been, book it. You'll likely never stay anywhere else. This little New Mexican oasis is about 20 minutes from...

We recently enjoyed four nights in the Butterfly House. The house is clean, comfortable and well decorated. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms were great for our three generation family to spread out in. The common rooms were terrific for gathering together and the spaciousness of the house allowed for privacy. The kids enjoyed visiting and feeding the animals. The...

In your casita you have every possible amenity. In the surrounding grounds are beautiful wind sculptures, wind chimes, Peacocks roaming about, and many other species of birds. There is an excellent swimming pool, and you may visit and feed the goats, geese, chickens and rabbits. Or you can barbecue on your front terrace and lay back and absorb the ambience....

I have stayed at Rancho Jacona 4 different times in 4 different casitas. Each was a delightful experience. All locations were well appointed and met every need. Great beds, kitchens very well equipped. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Love the grounds and the animals. Property is centrally located for exploring the Santa Feel area. Los Alamos and Bandelier in...

We had family coming in from north and south parts of the country, and we wanted to experience Santa Fe, Bandelier National Monument, Albuqureque, and casinos without staying at a hotel. This location was perfect for us, relaxing and quaint and homey! We shared three different homes as three family-groups, each house was clean, well equipped with linens and kitchen...

Our 1st time many years ago … it was a place to stay outside of Santa Fe, but now it's our GO TO lodging whenever we're in the area. No need to be "in town." We love Rancho Jacona! Our last 3 visits have been to Turtle House, but previously we've stayed in some of the other houses. We love...

Great place for a family reunion and for children. Clean, well stocked, friendly. Fresh eggs delivered to your door. I would recommend staying here to most anyone. Close to Santa Fe, Los Alamos and Bandelier National Monument. Close to many things to do. Very private too. I can honestly say I have no complaints!

The location, privacy, loveliness, pet friendliness, and relaxed culture are wonderful. Morning and evening meals on the casita patio allow us to set a relaxed schedule, and cooking in the great little kitchen saves lots of money. Both Santa Fe and Los Alamos are close, not to mention the amazing trails in Bandelier and surrounding mountains. But Rancho Jacona itself...

We have been coming to Rancho Jacona for 10 years. My son was 1 when we stayed the first time and we have since celebrated 4 of his birthdays there. Our favorite is Butterfly House. My parents, myself and my 2 children have made many wonderful memories during our time at Rancho Jacona. On one trip we decided to take...

Our seven-person staff rented two houses and were each able to get a single bedroom for each of us. It was quiet, a peaceful place and great for our style of office retreat. Kitchens were well-stocked with cooking utensils, plates, glasses etc. the refrigerators were able to handle all the food we brought up with us and we were well...
