The staff are friendly, if a bit quirky! A retro/vintage place to stay for those who hate modern motels. Your own door - not a bland hallway to a bland box. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

I spent the night in room 14 at the Raton Pass Inn and the theme for my room was Mexican cowgirls! The room was super comfortable and definitely vintage. The owners are very friendly, and with breakfast included I got to know them a little bit while we chatted and I ate. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to any...

Spent a night at the Raton Pass on the way back from skiing. Nice rooms, very clean and great service. Plus, the rates were extremely reasonable. Motel was full but still quiet and we were able to back up right to our door. Enjoyed chatting over breakfast with Laurie. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second (round-trip) stay at the Raton Pass Inn. The owners are very nice & make you feel very special on your stay. The rooms are "themed" & always a delightful surprise! The main thing we look for in a motel is a quiet, comfortable place to rest our heads for the night & this place delivers. I...

Very nice, clean room with a pleasant decor. Great shower water pressure. Good heater. Cold fridge and working microwave. The breakfast was basic fare but all good quality - bagels, oatmeal, cereal, scones, toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt. Good strong coffee. Perfect for a lighter breakfast. The single community table was nice for meeting other guests. One of the owners...

Cute retro/1950s themed motor court inn that was bought about a year ago by a couple that definitely has an interest in the things of the 1950s and 60s! I have to begin with my "big five" in evaluating lodging: The place is clean, safe, quiet, comfortable and well-priced. The proprietors are so nice and hospitable and you can tell...

This was one of the nicest places I've stayed. It had charm, clean rooms, and great value. Friendly staff. There was such an overall sense of gracious hospitality that I hope to come back again. You can also let them know if you are traveling with a pet.

We came in on a VERY snowy night, but the warmth and friendliness of the proprietors made it a pleasure. Clean, comfortable beds, and coffee in the am. What more could you want? We'd stay there again.

Stayed there January 5-7, 2017. Older architecture, sure, but spacious rooms and up-to-date where needed including heat. The décor reflective of our southwest region (examples: Butch and Sundance Room, The Wildlife Room). Hosting is excellent and accommodating checkout to match our needs. Very good system of confirmations and without a credit card. Housekeeping was noticeably excellent. Clean, hot shower with...
