We have returned from a most wonderful four day visit back to Londolozi game reserve and we had a truly magical time again. We stayed at Pioneer camp in a larger room, two bathrooms and a sitting room, although all rooms at Londolozi are incredible...More
If you have never been on safari, do so, but choose Londolozi. A once in a life time experience. From the food, staff, drives, it will take your breath away. Stunning rooms, and as i mentioned, incredible staff. You won’t be disappointed.
Although super pricey its worth every penny. From the accomadations, to the staff, to the property, first class all around. Our guide and tracker combo "Finniccent" were amazing. Always going above and beyond to absolutely maximize our experience. Our host, Tayla, also one in a...More

I didn’t take any malaria meds and I had no issues. That being said, our guide said that the mosquitoes had been bad lately. As long as you always use repellent you should be fine. We had some very cold rainy days

Afternoon game drives are at 3:30 and although you'll go out in long sleeves and pants, once the sun sets you'll start layering back on (the sundowner G&Ts will help warm you up). The middays are glorious - I wore my bathing suit every afternoon after lunch. This was the most amazing time to go - zero mosquitos, beautiful days and wonderful cool nights. I can't say enough about this magical place and just describing it is making me tear up...

It does depend on which airline you are travelling with. If you are flying via Federal Air straight onto our airstrip, the strict 20kg, soft bag, all-inclusive weight allowance applies. If you are flying into Skukuza Airport and getting a transfer to the lodge then you are allowed to bring in slightly more luggage in a harder suitcase, with wheels. Your booking agent or our reservation office will be able to advise exactly which airline you are flying with if you are unsure. I hope that this helps.

"This year we stayed in Pioneer Camp which was wonderful. The room was twice the size!"
