Unfortunately Cheetah Plains was a huge disappointment on so many levels. It was the most expensive lodge we stayed at and it was by far the worst value for money. Compared to other lodges it should be less than half the price. We feel completely ripped off. Let's start with the rooms - they are very small and in great...

South Africa as a whole could be described as I have above. I have fallen in love with this country and this lodge was part of the reason. My husband and I were here for five days and we could not have had a more amazing experience. We were lucky in that we were able to have both Ephraim and...

We loved every minute in this lodge: the view& the surroundings, the food. And the game drives showed us the true African bush magic! The games drives - with guide Mike -made the stay in Cheetah Plains memorable! For sure hope to return in future!

We are so fortunate in our location - awoke this morning to lions roaring and hyenas yipping - how wonderful is that?! Every day brings new wonders. Looking forward to your next visit! This was my third trip to Sabie Sands and Cheetah Plains is my favorite lodge in the area. If you prefer the kind of place where guests dine together at one table and you meet people of a similar outlook to your own then you will enjoy this place. The particular highlight has to be the leopard sightings - I...

Our family of six adults spent four days at Cheetah Plains and it was life changing. The accommodations are rather modest for a safari camp but we liked it that way - small and cozy. The staff, especially Mike our guide, were beyond fabulous. We saw the most beautiful animals and birds on every one of our game drives. We...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review - this is such a valuable vehicle to monitor and improve on our offering. We are pleased you obviously enjoyed the game drives and were able to take decent photographs of the abundant wild-life, as, after all, this is surely the main purpose of your visit!
