This was our first visit to a lodge in the north of Sabi Sands and it didn't disappoint. Londolozi is our all time favourite but trying to be a bit more frugal we opted for a lodge at probably half the cost. Unfortunately due to the drought the water in the dam opposite our room had dried up but that's...

I can´t stop thinking about my visit at Arathusa. Just want to go back. It was so amazing in every way. The lodgin itself was so nice and luxury, the food excellent and you really had everything you could possible need. The staff went out of their way to do new happenings every day with different places to eat and...

This was our first safari and we saw the big 5! Saw a lion kill and leopard kill in tree! Even saw a cheetah! Wonderful experience with tracker and Sean who is very knowledgeable but a tad smug! Food was just okay it got much better once the chef came back after days off. They obviously need two chefs! Our...

What a different & fantastic three days to finish our wonderful holiday in South Africa. Saw all we wanted too and more - the Lodge is a oasis of luxury in the heart of Sabi Sands - wonderful rooms and great central Lodge area were a welcome find after the off road drive to the location. The lodge is beautifully designed with pool, outside bar, several eating areas and a spa. Even though the water hole currently is dried out there's still plenty of animals roaming the area in front of the lodge. The room (or chalet) was fantastic! Plenty of space with all the amenities you need. The bed is so comfortable and the mosquito...

Reception was friendly and welcoming and excellent at promoting the spa. Was accompanied to our assigned accommodation, a big, lovely villa located remotely out in the bush where big animals may visit. But we didn't like having to stay indoors with all doors locked after dark and not able to walk out of the villa unless accompanied by a guide....

This was our third stay at Arathusa and we have always really enjoyed every element. This latest visit exceeded all our previous brilliant visits. The whole place has been upgraded since our last visit and the rooms are now luxurious. The rangers are brilliant and if anything the game drives are an improvement on what we already considered to be...

My husband & I stayed in for 3 nights in a newly built water facing luxury room. The room was lovely, very spacious & well appointed. We had an indoor & lovely outdoor shower which was great & felt very decadent. We stayed in August & while it was chilly in the morning & evening the daytime warmed up nicely....

A must if you want a real safari. Arafura Lodge is outstanding. The villas are luxury and chose a villa furtherest from reception along the path. The hyenas, elephants, buffalo, warthogs, impala and even a distant lion were around the villa. It's totally safe of course. The elephants come to your plunge pool to drink !! It's hot , it's thirsty , but with...
