My best friend and I stayed at this lodge in 2009 (very late review) and we had the experience of a lifetime. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was two twins pushed together, which was ideal since I was travelling with my girlfriend, there was a large net around the bed as well plus and indoor and outdoor...

Our remote lodge had all the luxuries: giant premium bedding, giant tub, plunge pool, deck with roof and lounge chairs. large sitting area with leather easy chairs, lots of floor-to-ceiling glass and screen windows to see outside, outside and inside showers, twin bathroom sinks, refrigerator and bar. And animals were all around us. An elephant rustled by our deck about...

The roads leading there are terrible, but the place is wonderful and ranger Sean very qualified and super nice. Nice huts and good food - not quite as exclusive as Ngala, but still very good. Small infinity pool at the end of the bar overlooking the hippo pond.

We stayed at Arathusa for two nights at the end of December and I can only add to the positive comments. The room was really lovely with a very large bathroom that had an outdoor shower as well as one indoors. Our tracker, Sean, was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that we didn't miss any opportunities to see game. We...

When we arrived we were greeted by some of the staff with a big smile and made to feel very welcome and this continued with everyone that we met, all the staff were very attentive and friendly especially our Ranger Cedric and our tracker Derek. The accommodation was first class and the Safari's out of this world. The only slight...

Amazeballs! My husband and I stayed 4 nights. We stayed in a luxury lodge. Contrary to other reviews about staying in a lodge vs. the main building, we loved it. My husband and I travel 80% of the time so the alone time was much needed and we loved feeling secluded in the African bush. We had elephants and antelope...

Wow what can I say!! My wife and I stayed four nights which will be four days/nights we will never forget. The safaris were unforgettable after prior being at another game lodge we didn't think we could be further impressed. Ryan our ranger was superb, his knowledge outstanding and personality suited to the job! The close up sightings we got...

Such warm memories of Arathusa as i'm writing this review. My boyfriend and I did a 2 nite stay with them which I thought would be enough (tight schedule) but I regret not staying another nite just to relax in the tranquility of the lodge. Our room was secluded - Tambouti - which was perfect for the outdoor shower and...

We stayed at Arathusa December 17th for 4 nights. It truly was the most fantastic place. Our Ranger Sean and Tracker Rifus were so knowledgable about all the Wildlife including birds and trees as well as the Big 5 or Magnificent 7 as we saw. Every game drive was different. Each one exhilarating. Rhino, elephant, lion, wild dogs, cheetah, leopard,...

I do apologise for the late review I thought I had written this! We came to Arathusa in August and stayed for 4 nights. I can't fault the place! Our days went something like this:- 5:30am we were woken very pleasantly for our morning safari. 6am we had coffee and set off for safari. We had Roy and Chris with...
