I'm not sure I can add much to the other reviews other than to wholeheartedly endorse them. The lodge itself is lovely, the food's (much too) good, the staff are relaxed, friendly and professional, and the rangers and the guides are simply amazing. We saw the big 5 (still shell shocked by it!), watched lions try to take down a...

Our family of five spent four days at Idube - and we all agreed it was 100% one of our best family vacations ever. The lodge was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we could have wanted in the middle of a game reserve. The food was tasty, plentiful and varied, and even our vegetarian daughters had lots of...

We stayed at Idube lodge for 3 nights in April 2016. Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable and, apart from difficulty in keeping the hot water flowing through both the inside and outdoor showers, was entirely satisfactory. The main lodge was very comfortable with a bar, restaurant area and a lounge room for relaxation. There were also outdoor areas...

My wife and I and two daughters aged 12 and 15 stayed at Idube early April for 3 nights. We had just come from Lukimbi (a sister lodge) and were on a high after a fantastic time. Idube was different in several ways and we were glad we got to compare. Our Ranger was a young guy named Brogan. My...

It's typically easy to write an average review, moderately hard to write a bad review, but incredibly challenging to write a good review. That's because it's remarkably hard to define surreal moments in a way that reflects the true reality of that experience, and does it justice. If I had to briefly explain why Idube left us all in awe,...

This is probably the most amazing resort in the reserve. Game drives - We had Rob the ranger assigned to our group and he is just perfect! His love for wildlife and his experience of 13 years made it seem like he was the king of jungle. He predicted next moves of all wildlife we spotted and almost always it...

Five of us stayed at Idube for 2 nights in the first week of April. The lodge is very well maintained with an extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Rob The Ranger and Mark took us for 4 safaris with some great experience of tracking leopards, lions and rhinos. We were able to see some great sightings thanks to these two...

We did a couple of safaris on our trip through South Africa, but Idube was really the most special and intense experience! Our ranger & tracker were absolutely interested in offering us an awesome experience and personalized our safari tours totally depending on what animals we wanted to see. It felt really like an outdoor adventure, especially when they started...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Idube Private Game Reserve. What an outstanding & unforgettable experience we had! From the moment we arrived to our final second, we were treated like valued friends. The accommodation is beautiful, spacious & very relaxing. My husband loved the option of an outdoor shower. To be able to sit on...

We had had the most wonderful, special memory filled time at Idube. My husband and I were spoilt with the rare opportunity to experience what our international guests get to enjoy frequently and I can say - every aspect of our stay was faultless. The drive into the camp was pleasant, the welcome was warm, the introduction to the camp...
