We recently stayed 3 days at Lion Sands Ivory Lodge as part of a 9 day 40th Anniversary trip to South Africa. This was of course the highlight of our trip. The accommodation was so luxurious with its own pool and viewing deck overlooking the river where you could see herds of elephants and hippos. The staff saw to your... More

Everything about Lion Sands Ivory Lodge is just amazing. It all starts with the people - so warm, helpful, and friendly. The facilities are breathtaking, and the game drives were a pm experience to remember for a lifetime. Dumay and Kruger were fantastic guides in the bush, and the entire staff including Solly and Eunice made our stay perfect. Sort... More

This resort was absolutely a 5 star. Everything was first class,,,from the accommodations. the food, and the service to the fabulous wild animals. Our ranger, Benry , and the tracker , Juice. were so very knowledgeable.. they made this trip so very safe and enjoyable for a self confessed chicken like me !!

Lion sands ivory lodge has a high reputation so our expectations were very high. This is a luxurious game lodge indeed, very private with only a 5 rooms and lots of staff to fulfill every wish. Comparing to the previous lodge we stayed, Kapama Karula, we were slightly disappointed with the hotel grounds. Don't get me wrong, Lion Sands ist... More

We stayed in Peregrine suite for 3 nights after staying in Londolozi Tree Camp. We had a very private suite with the best of amenities, and views of the Sabi River bed. Across from our suite was a recent lion kill of a water buffalo, which 3 female lionesses and their cubs enjoyed for 2 days. The food is probably... More
