We stayed in cabin #7 Trout cabin. It was a beautiful cabin, better in person than in the pictures. It was very well equipped with everything you will need. The Jacquzzi was wonderful. The weather was just right for an evening fire, complete with firewood and kindling. The bed was very comfortable and everything was impeccable clean. Thank you for...

We decided on this quaint little set of cabins because my boyfriend had stayed there almost 37 years ago, we were NOT disappointed! !! We arrived and quickly checked it. Check in was great, new owners have just taken over and they were excited and friendly! We stayed in Cabin 4, it's a 2 bedroom cabin with a fireplace and...

After an unfortunate mix up at a different lodge, we were left scrambling to find accommodations for our two night stay after we had already arrived in Ruidoso. We arrived at Story Book Cabins, and Jennifer took us to see cabin 3, and we were sold. One especially nice feature is the recliners that made lounging and watching TV very...

We stayed in a 2BD/2 bath cabin, #12. It was very "cute". It was small, but was great for two couples this time of year. Spent most of our time outside on the porch. The deer come up morning and evening and will eat out of your hands. We had great weather. The cabin was well kept and very clean....

It was a perfect getaway. From the fully stocked kitchen cabinets ( even with the wine glasses!!) to the comfy cozy beds. We were able to relax in the hot tub on the deck under the stars and first thing in the morning. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing cabin.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Storeybook Cabin, it was so nice and quiet. We stayed in cabin #22 and it was beautiful and very clean. The owners were really nice and the DVD rentals was a plus! We will definitely be going back!

The cabins are nice and extremely clean, with lots of amenities. It is definitely a quiet neighborhood. I loved the hammock and the hummingbirds on the porch! The Story Book Cabins are only half mile to the main street for downtown. Walton

Our visit was so good, I want to keep this place a secret, but I'll share anyway. We stayed in #14 which was on top of a hill at the end of a road. It was very tidy, and had everything we needed for a family of 4. There were 2 rooms with firm king beds and a bath with...

We stayed in cabin 27 and enjoyed every minute!! We were 2 separate couples, each with our own room and bathroom. Cabin was well equipped for everything needed. We ran into some little issues, but made a suggestion to the Story Book staff and was pleasantly surprised when they responded that they would make the necessary updates requested. Wow!! Talk...
