The accommodation in the two person tents is very comfortable (and the bathrooms with outdoor showers and indoor tubs are especially nice), the communal areas (including where meals are taken) are well laid-out and relaxing, and the staff were...

Our three day/night experience at Sausage Tree was perfect in every way. This includes the amazing game drives led by Kevin and Themba on which we saw the Big Five and so much more. Their knowledge and skills were outstanding. The dinners in the boma prepared by Orlando were delicious. The lodges were comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. The rest of...

This was our first ever safari and we didn't know what to expect. But what we got to experience during our stay with Sausage Tree was nothing close to what we could ever dream of. Wonderful location, amazing and friendly staff, clean and beautiful tents and food that would impress Gordon Ramsey (heavenly good! Thank you Orlando). We highly recommend...

When I read that we were staying in tents in a safari camp, I was a little anxious. I am not the camping type of gal. This was glamping at it's best. The tents are on a foundation with a front porch to watch the wildlife. There is a beautiful indoor bathroom with a tub and an outdoor shower. I...

Kevin, the safari guide, was informative and entertaining. He knew a lot about all the animals and the set-up in a private reserve is much more intimate with no more than 2 trucks being onsite at any time. Lucky that we booked our safari with the Sausage Tree Camp. From the moment we arrived it felt like home, all the staff were friendly and helpful.
