We were a group of 12 family and friends who spent 3 nights at Ngala Tented Camp. With the group being so large we had the camp as our own. The tents are luxurious. The food is gourmet with the chef able to accommodate any dietary requests. Some of the dishes were so goid, I asked the chef for recipes...

We 1st visited Ngala in April 1993 where we had our first safari experience and fell in love with South Africa. This year was our 3rd trip there and we decided with our travel agent to return to Ngala. Currently only the Tented Camp was operable as the 21 room "Safari Camp" is currently under renovation. (That does not affect...

We were at this lodge 3 nights of our 10 day trip in South Africa, organized by andBeyond. This was our favorite lodge. Pros: Luxury tents with air conditioning, nice bathrooms with bath and outdoor shower. The common area has a luxurious and very nice decor where you feel like being before and after the great meals. The outdoor pool...

From the moment you get picked up to the moment you leave, this place is magical. For starters, andBeyond is meticulous and does not miss a single detail. Drivers from the airport to greeting when you arrive and the fantastic staff at this lodge...all wonderful. The rooms are private and spacious with views of the riverbed (which is often dry,...

I was here just for 1 night, as part of an educational trip for my work. I had a great time, especially the safaris were great and I will never forget the experience to stay here. Well trained, dedicated rangers, good food, all small scale, nice tented room. You will not regret staying here. Service is excellent and personalized.

We stayed at the Ngala Tented Camp as part of our honeymoon - this being my safari experience, and my husband having been on safari many times before in other African countries. He was very keen for me to experience staying in a tented camp as opposed to a lodge, and I am so glad we chose Ngala for this!...

I took my wife and two teenage sons to Africa over Christmas. We planned our trip through Fred Mittermayer at &Beyond, and he made sure we had the trip of a lifetime. At Ngala, Dylan runs a world class tented camp. The tents, food and service were first rate, and the wildlife exceeded our VERY high expectations. David prepared breakfast...

The lodge, the butler, David, the ranger, Steve, the chef, the rest of the staff, the game drives, the food, the luxury tents - all out of this world! My husband and I enjoyed our memorable weekend so much, we are still trying to get back on track in Jozi. We will definitely be back as soon as we get...

Wonderful experience at Ngala tented camp. The staff did everything possible to make our stay memorable. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. AndBeyond is a pleasure to do business with and I would not hesitate using them on the future.

This was our first trip to Africa and we arrived over the Christmas vacation with our two daughters, ages 13 and 15. Since we had never done the "safari' experience it was recommended to us that we visit both a tented camp and a lodge. If you are looking for a tented camp experience I would highly recommend this property....
