Booked Kambaku with the hope of treating Miss 8 & Miss 11 (and ourselves!) to an African experience yet with some mod cons. Kambaku is fabulous! It's style is a simple but impeccably decorated lodge that makes you wished you lived there. Our room was a 2 bedroom, huge canopy bed for the adults & in a room with 2... More

We had a marvellous time at Kambaku Safari Lodge in October 2014. Kambaku Safari is one of the most beautiful, spectacular, personal, caring, friendly and outstanding places on earth. During the guided game drives which operate twice each day (at 5.30 am/3.30 pm) we came as close to the animals as never before. The trackers and rangers are very experienced... More

Location is well placed for game viewing. All the Big 5, plus more, in the first game drive. Ranger/driver and guide appear very knowledgeable about the game and the habitat. The rooms are clean, and comfortable with mosquito nets over beds (malaria risk area). Bathroom was large featuring a shower recess and an ornate bath tub if one likes lounging... More

An intimate bush experience. An attentive staff created a relaxed and comfortable environment. You almost felt like you were visiting friends. Absolutely wonderful food…quality and presentation. Animal drives were great…a leopard with a kill feeding her two cubs was a highlight. But a bush hike where you learned about the smaller wildlife and flora of the bush is a wonderful... More
