During our time at this camp we felt like we were part of the family. The staff was so accommodating and friendly and the game drives did not disappoint. Our guide was Foreman and our tracker was Ransom. They were both great. Forman has a great disposition and was very insightful about the animals that we were seeing. We saw...

Next to the amazing safari drives, Ryan, the fantastic chef, was outstanding, especially attentive to our dietary needs preparing special dairy free meals. He was one of the highlights of the lodge. At each lunch meal, we would stand by the buffet style setting and explain all the dishes he and his staff made from scratch, even the bread. At...

My husband and I stayed at Tanda Tula in August as part of our belated honeymoon trip to South Africa. As the first camp on our safari, every aspect was exciting, and animal sightings at camp were commonplace, including monkeys, a hippo, warthogs, nyalas, bushbucks, and more. Leopards were rumored to roam at night although we did not see any...

What a lovely review. Thank you so much for taking the time out to share your experience with us! We love the fact that guests often arrive as strangers, but leave as part of the bigger Tanda Tula family. Don & Nina Scott

Once again tanda Tula was amazing. Our guide Luke was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a personal interest in everything to do with the bush from the smallest bird to the largest mammals, photography etc etc. The lodge remains unchanged and is great but a proper entry for to the tent would be a welcome addition. Unfortunately the...

Thank you for your review. We always welcome feedback, whether positive or otherwise. We are looking into the point you raised regarding your dining experience, and have asked Ryan to work together with his team so that things continue as clockwork should he not be in camp.

The people, the food, the views, the animals, the tents, the service--I mean the list of great things is endless. This was one of the most memorable experiences of my lifetime. The tents were so spacious, clean, yet raw and felt like you were part of the jungle. The staff, and the service is just beyond amazing. Everyone is so...

We are so pleased to hear you had exceptional game viewing during your stay with us. Our ranger and tracker teams do try to go out of their way to find interesting game, and when they do it certainly pays off. We look forward to welcoming you again in the near future.

This was our first safari - and the experience was everything we hoped it would be. Our guides - Ginger and Given - made sure that we got the maximum experience from the game drives. Like all the staff at Tanda Tula they were dedicated professionals and as a result we were given an unforgettable experience. The tented accommodation was...

We could not have asked for better accommodations at a tented lodge and to say we were spoiled would be an understatement. We also saw all the Big 5 on our 4-day stay. My husband and I still talk about this vacation - 6 months later - and agree it was the BEST vacation we have ever had! We didn't...

Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 teens) spent 3 days at Tanda Tula and absolutely loved it! From the picturesque location to the delicious food to the impeccable service it was a very memorable stay. The safari drives (we did 5) were incredible - each time we went out we saw something different - from baby elephants playing...

Okay, so we'd never been on a safari before. Our friends arranged the trip for us. Eyes on Africa, a Chicago based travel agent, booked our 3 plus days at Tanda Tula for us. This was the conclusion of our 2 week trip to South Africa. Everything about our time at Tanda Tula was other worldly, magical. The exceptionally friendly...

Tanda Tula was our last and best safari experience on our recent trip. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating Our guide and tracker Luke and Jack were exceptional. Food was excellent. Well prepared and plentiful. The outside shower was unique and even fun in the rain.
