My wife & I spent three nights at Tanda Tula and it was an incredible experience. From coffee delivered to your tent before the morning game drive to a delicious evening meal; the entire day was a perfect way to experience the African bush. Our guide, Luke; our tracker, Jack; and the entire staff were consummate professionals and unbelievably warm... More

4 women from near Boston spent 3 nights here and it was the highlight of our trip. Arrived and were greeted by the Nyala family. The tents were totally cool and showering outside (in private) was fun, although I also lounged in the tub. The safaris were perfect and our guide Civilize was the best! Our tracker Glen spotted a... We had a lovely welcome from Dale who picked us up from the airstrip, and found the rest of the team to be friendly and helpful. Our tented room was great, but you do need to keep your carabiner done up to avoid monkey trouble!! The room was comfortable, with a camping feel but somewhat more luxurious facilities! It is... I debated whether to return to Tanda Tula eight years after our first visit which was nothing short of spectacular. So good was that first experience I was almost confident it could not be replicated, and I therefore didn't want to ruin the fantastic memories. I was wrong and I am so pleased we chose to return. Tanda Tula is... More

Our first safari experience, but not the last. We were stunned by the exquisite setting and accommodation. The organisation was thoughtful & faultless and we saw the big five every day. All of the staff from the managers to the guides, the trackers to the chefs were superbly helpful and friendly...and fun. A totally personal service. The tents were quite... More

Tanda Tula camp is filled with the most amazing, attentive staff with incredibly knowledgeable and experienced guides. My husband and I just spent 4 days of our honeymoon at this camp on the Timbavati Private Reserve. Ginger (Moya :) ) and Given were our guides and they were PHENOMENAL. We saw the big 5 usually every morning AND every evening.... More

Best experience my family has ever had!!! Loved the staff, especially the show with their families around the fire! Martin Meyers was our guide- better than Bear Grylls! He was so great with our family and we saw the big 5 almost every day! Chef Ryan made amazing food! The accommodation was amazing, felt so luxurious- our heated mattresses would... More

Stayed in Tanda Tula from 8 to 10 October 2016. Could fault nothing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. One of us was vegetarian and this was catered for with no problems. Accommodation was great in the 'tents'. It was fantastic being able to hear all the night sounds of Africa (although red legged Francolins calling at 4.30... More

A truly memorable 4 nights here as part of a 2-lodge safari experience. We absolutely adored Tanda Tula - its' lovely open setting with (extremely cold) swimming pool down by the waterhole/hide, very tasty food, unlimited drinks (although we were always shattered), and the most fantastic staff - made even better by the fact that a lot of them are... I stayed here on safari with my husband a bit back and just realized that I never wrote a review! A bit delayed in doing so, but definitely worth the review (better late than never). Reception was very welcoming. The staff had all of our paperwork prepared and waiting for our arrival. We were welcomed with cold drinks and our... More
