Luxurious accommodation, beautiful and tastefully decorated. Rooms are spacious and everything is just superb. We were a party of six and one room in the main manor and 2 rooms overlooking the beautiful plains of Shamwari. The restaurant serves beautiful food and the wine list is extensive and not overly expensive. Lovely gift shop. Staff were amazing and the service...

We stayed at Long Lee Manor for 2 nights. Manor was a fantastic place to stay facilities were brilliant and staff amazingly friendly and helpful. Without a doubt our Ranger Nicky made the experience for us. Her knowledge, passion and dedication made each drive memorable and something we shall never forget.

We stayed for 3 nights at Sarili Lodge with 6 adults and 5 kids (ages 6 - 11) in Jan 2014. We are all well seasoned travellers and this was one of the best travel experiences we have had. The lodge is beautifully done, the staff were nothing short of amazing (led by Liza-Marie, Thobela was also wonderful) and we...

The three night stay at Long Lee Manor was a great. The manor is colonial style, the suite was large with a huge patio and a wonderful view over the game reserve. I never thought getting up at 5.30 could be a pleasure but it was. The undisputed highlight were the game drives in the morning and late afternoon. Our...

Over two nights we did four game drives with a knowledgeable, charismatic and passionate ranger who really taught us a lot about the way animals behave and live. The food at the lodge was very good, particularly the BBQ was well done. Rooms were spacious and of a high standard.

We started our South African adventure by staying at Bayethe for 4 nights in November 2013 . It was the most fantastic experience ever and a great way to start your holiday. Everything about our time at Shamwari was marvellous and all the staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble. Food was varied and tasty at each sitting. Our...

There are several places to stay in Shamwari, but we decided on Eagles Crag as it was small & intimate. We had an amazing thatched villa; with the most comfortable bed ever. It had a roll top bath; an outside plunge pool and outside shower. Our range Harry, was absolutely fantastic and very knowledgeable and wanted us to see as...

We spent 3 nights at Baythe, Shamwari in November and we would throughly recommend it. Our ranger was Headman and if you get the chance I would request him as he was very knowledgeable and it was certainly not coming back from the drive until we had seen everything on our list and the BIG 5 - which we did!!...

"We spent 2 nights at Long Lee Manor in Shamwari. It was recommended as it was Malaria free and good with kids. I can only say it was the experience of a lifetime. Our guide, Fred, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. He was great with the kids. We were concerned about taking a 7 and 10 year old on safari...

Everything we expected from one the top rated game reserves. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and, rather too, plentiful! The accommodation at long lee manor was charming, although slightly disappointing as the views were really only of the gardens, rather than the wider view of the reserve. Our ranger, Nicky, was an absolute star. Genuinely...
