Tau Lodge is so cool! I admit the rooms might not be perfect, but hey, you're in Africa! We got really excited as we saw loads of monkeys around, although I was a bit disappointed when one of the monkeys stole my jar that I left outside on the balcony. There was a also a pool where we swam in...

Tau Game Lodge is a little piece of heaven in this Game Reserve in northern South Africa. Great service from start to finish, not to mention the wonderful wildlife everywhere! Rooms are appointed in a lovely manner and eco-friendly.

A special thank THANK YOU to Tumi, Tau Game Lodge Ops Manager, for ensuring that my terrible experience is turned in a perfect time at Tau Game Lodge. I had a vehicle breakdown and Tumi went out of his way to ensure that I sorted out the insurance claim process and I accompanied to go and fetch a rental vehicle,...

This was our first time on Safari, but we spent 3 nights at Tau. The staff were all wonderful - our ranger for the 6 drives was fantastic, and really made our experience (Mike). The lodge itself is very well equipped, there is no internet in the rooms but each had a great view of the watering hole - so...

We visit game lodges a bit, we love the bush, and experience it through the many levels of products that are available, from self drive, to 5 star. Tau Game Lodge gets it right, a great quality product, without feeling at all pretentious or Over The Top. We particularly loved the situation of the lodge on a very vibrant waterhole,...

Short drive from Gaborone. The last bit of the road was hard on our car (and us) tough. Nice small cottages, all with a view over the water hole. In all 32 cottages with double beds. Excellent food and very good service from the friendly staff. We got a bit spoiled with our own jeep for the game drives. We...

We had a wonderful three nights at Tau. Incredible game viewing experiences with our two awesome guides OB and Dylan (saw pretty much four of the big five on every drive, including really wonderful interactions between the animals, for example a herd of ellies chasing lion away from their kill), wonderful, big, comfy rooms (with amazing bed and linen) and...

My recent short stay at Tau was such an amazing experience. The service provided by all the staff could not be faulted. From pickup and return to the local airport the staff were amazingly polite, cheerful, friendly and helpful, ensuring my stay was comfortable. My room had a great view of the passing wildlife and animals visiting the waterhole. The...

We visited Tau Game Lodge for 4 nights toward the end of April. We were delighted in every way- great location, comfortable room, fabulous food and wonderful sightings. We saw an abundance of animals - including cheetah, buffalo, lion, elephant, zebra, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, rhino - but no leopard on this occasion. Our game driver Jesse was ever so obliging...
