Our family of 11 stayed for two nights, enjoying 4 safaris where we saw not only the Big Five, but also the 'Magnificent Seven'. Heinrich and Daniel are so respectful of all the wildlife and environment, as well as patient with us humans and all...More

We thoroughly enjoyed having you and the family with us in camp and are so pleased we could be part of the journey down memory lane . We would love to have you back with us in the future. Keep well.
The Bush House is located quite close to the Wonderboom gate and you don't need 4x4 to get there. Madikwe will only allow you to drive your private car to your lodge. All game drives are done by your lodge in a safari vehicle.

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback which we appreciate. We are very pleased your enjoyed the animal sightings on drive and that you got to enjoy an authentic and very heavy Madikwe rainstorm!
We visited Madikwe Game Reserve and stayed at The Bush House. Both turned out to be excellent choices. We've not visited other reserves yet, so we can't make direct comparisons, but it's hard to believe anything can top either Madikwe or The Bush House. You...More

An amazing place to stay! We first stayed there in 2003 on our first trip to South Africa and before Madikwe got well known. We didn't think we would be able to return during our 2nd and 3rd trips to SA (we thought we'd only...More

Thank you for coming back again to The Bush House and for getting to meet us all. It was such a pleasure having you in camp - even if the elephants gave you a special "shower"! Hope you enjoy the webcam.
My wife and I spent a lot of time trying to decide where to stay in Madikwe. It seemed that every lodge had great reviews, so this wasn't an easy decision. What sold us on The Bush House was the hide, which is right next...More

Hi there. We have a total of six rooms at the lodge but normally
take a maximum of ten guests so that it is small and intimate.
However if one group takes out the lodge we take more than ten people on request.

"Try and get the Mushana Room as there is a nice view of the animals at the hide."
