A friendly staff, great breakfast with biscuits and gravy, comfy beds with lots of pillows make this a good choice. You can walk to the Plaza and it's a short drive to the Pueblo. There's a pool and a hot tub.

No. The lodge is located in the heart of Taos, where there are museum's, art museum's, restaurants, and shops. About 20 miles from town you can drive through a forested area, where you may see some wildlife.
