So I booked it anyway because I have wanted to stay here for years. We loved it. He loved it. It is an older hotel but the rooms are huge and clean. It is also quiet. Our room was in the back near the barbecue area. Very nicely decorated for Christmas. I found the comforter overwhelming and would have liked...

First time to stay at El Pueblo. The lady at the front desk was very friendly; gave us keys to two rooms so we could see the difference between 2 queens with a fireplace and without. We selected the room without the fireplace and found it to be spacious enough. The reviews indicate an excellent breakfast - completely agree. Breakfast...

We stayed here two nights while visiting Taos. We had a King room with a fireplace on the ground floor level. It was a nice room, with colorful decorations and a comfortable bed. Besides the fireplace and king bed, we had a small sofa in a sitting area near the desk. The staff was friendly and the buffet breakfast was...

Our first time in Taos and not knowing what to expect we reserved at El Pueblo. We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the room. Kitchenette with micro, fridge, toaster, small sink- room to make EZ meals. Fireplace was restocked with wood daily. Comfortable bed. This was my second trip to Taos but my first time staying at the El Pueblo Lodge. I brought my mom for her first time to Taos for her birthday gift. It was a little more in price than the cheaper hotel that I've stayed at before but TOTALLY worth it! I wanted her to have a memorable and relaxed...

Breakfast was so good! Must try the burrito! If only staying one night, make sure to request it the night before since they alternate their food. We stayed 2 nights and I was craving the burrito the second Morning but they served a potato mix instead. Coffee was also good and not watered down. The staff was extremely friendly! The...

This lodge is perfect for Taos, full of charm, relaxed and friendly. The entrance outside the reception area is a delight - full of brightly coloured pots and decor in the local style. All the staff we came into contact with over two days were extremely friendly. The afternoon cookies were a bonus. The pool looked very tempting, but it...
