This historic hotel in downtown Taos is still a fun place to stay, but the management has become complacent or maybe business is so good they don't have to care. They seemed irritated and check in was difficult because we arrived after the band had started playing in the main lobby. It was very hard to hear or even get...

This Inn has four buildings so make sure you know where you book. It has a total of 44 rooms. Each one is decorated in authentic Southwestern style. The antique furnishings are beautiful. We booked two rooms and one had a fireplace which we did not use. There is NO ELEVATOR! There is no bellhop. There is no ice machine,...

We enjoyed almost everything about the hotel with one major exception. The mattress and box springs were very worn out and uncomfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if not for that, but the bedding situation really needs some attention.

Our entire experience from check-in to check-out was wonderful. The staff was extremely welcoming, our room was very comfortable, clean and just perfect for the location and price. They have live music every day and the guy that was there shortly after we checked and and after we got back from dinner sounded great we had just had a long...

Cozy room with nightly entertainment that ends at 9:30 so guests can rest. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the people around town were also friendly. There are many places to eat and shop nearby.

We love this place and have stayed before. Great ground-floor rooms available for limited mobility. Central location to walk to Kit Carson galleries. Superb Doc Martin's restaurant with friendly staff and wonderful food. Great bar, too! And fireplace in the room, how wonderful.

I've been staying here ever since my first visit to Taos in 1987, 30 years ago. This trip the place felt a little rundown and tired. Needs some maintenance. Staff is great and room service prompt. Great location. Please do a makeover / repairs and bring it up to snuff!

Great location across the street from the plaza. This Inn has alot of history. The ambience is funky artistic adobe. Conveniently downstairs has a full bar with good food. Live music in bar area is every night 6:30-9:30 (mountain time) this can be good if you are energized, however if you are on central or eastern time and tired from...

Loved staying here and the ambiance of an old inn. Each room is unique and cozy! There is live music in the lobby and the front desk staff was amazingly helpful! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Always stay here because of the live music nightly in the lobby. We were coming back from eating around 9:30 pm and the lobby was packed. Asked the waitress WHAT UP. She said Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins is going to play a surprise set. Sure enough in he walks and he plays about an hour. Blew me away....
