We spent 2 nights in this historic and quaint bed and breakfast and loved every moment. Paco, the owner, was very hospitable and made us feel welcome and provided us with everything we could have asked for during our visit. The breakfast was delicious and the Inn was immaculately clean. We stayed in the Sonrisa room and loved the décor... More

We are repeat customers. Have been staying at La Dona Luz off and on since 1995. The B&B is absolutely charming, unique and filled with lots of history. Paco the owner is very cheerful and helpful to all his guests. We definitely will stay at La Dona Luz on our next visit to Taos, NM.

LOVED this bed and breakfast. It is filled with art and history from the area. Very quaint and cozy. Rooms were large and had private bathrooms. Ours had a jacuzzi tub. A lot of the walls were murals that had been hand painted which added charm tithe whole place. Staff was very friendly. Place was very clean and comfortable. Owner... More

It's a quaint but nice little bed and breakfast. The owner, Paco, was very nice. We felt at home and the location is perfect. We stayed in the La Luz room and the Rainbow room. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

We stayed at La Dona Luz for two nights this past weekend. I booked the room based on the affordable rate, lower than most other B&B's in the area, and convenient location. Overall, it was a nice experience. Our room (Santiago) was spacious and filled with interesting pieces from Spain. It was comfortable and clean, though a little crowded because... More

The room was very nice on the second floor. The breakfast was really good too. We like to mountain bike and this was a great location! We could also walk into town. I would recommend it for sure. They made a lot of use out of a cramped space

This was my second time at La Dona Luz. I returned because it is so delightfully unique, and so wonderfully located within walking distance of most of Taos. Paco has been creating one-of-a-kind rooms in this historic home for decades; his passion for what he is doing is evident in the distinct personality of each space. My husband and I... More

We spent 2 nights at La Dona Luz in the bright and sunny Sonrisa room. There is an easy walk up an outdoor flight of stairs to the second floor where this room is located. (Note: 3rd floor rooms require a walk up a narrow spiral staircase.) This B&B would be especially inviting for artists and fans of the local... More

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at La Dona Luz and I'm afraid we were terribly disappointed. There were some good things, the decor, atmosphere, perfect location to the plaza & activities. We stayed in the cute La Luz suite up the tiny spiral staircase, a tight squeeze, but we knew that when we reserved the room. The... More

Situated right in the middle of Taos, very friendly host. We had the Rainbow room, wich have its own private hot-tub at the roof, we loved to sit at night under the stars in the tub. The raibow room is a lovely room with lot of interesting art. The breakfast was however a little uninteresting, stale bagels, and not very... More
