This is a nice little B&B located just off the plaza, with parking so you can just walk to everything. Room was interesting, breakfast left a lot to be desired in comparison to other B&B's; only complaint was room was a bit dirty and the mattress was too soft. Also, I had thought the roof top hot tub is ONLY...

Everything about this place is terrific! The location is on a small side street just a stone's throw from the major intersection of 64 and 68, yet it was very quiet. It is a beautifully and funkily renovated traditional house. Our room, La Sonrisa, was exuberantly decorated with folk painting on pretty much every wall surface. There was a kiva...

We stayed in Yellow Bird suite and it couldn't have been nicer. Comfy king sized bed, kiva in a semi separate room with a door to the courtyard. Great jacuzzi tub. Tasteful and authentic native relics made the room particularly welcoming. Only a block and a half to the plaza. We were off season and loved the quiet, friendly town....

Our first night at La Dona Luz B&B was in the Angelitos suite, full of small angel statues, art by local artists, and Navajo rugs. We liked it so much we asked to stay another night later in the week. The 2nd night was in the Yellow Deer suite, which had big Indian drums for bed stands, spectacular painted pots...

Enjoyed my 3 night stay over New Years. Breakfast was lovely and the staff was very welcoming. Choices included regular or banana cinnamon waffles made to order, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, toast, juice, and coffee. Stayed in La Luz which is on the 3rd floor up a wooden spiral staircase. Paco helped carry my luggage up to...

We LOVED our stay there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast waffles were delicious and, when we entered the rooms, it felt like we were in a Disney set, but a comfortable, beautiful one that we never wanted to leave. The jacuzzi bathtub was perfect at the end of the day. Each room is so beautiful and cozy....

This authentic Southwestern inn is in the perfect location to enjoy the many charms of Taos, with easy access to Taos Ski Valley, or reason for traveling to New Mexico. From their website, we selected the Red Willow Room, perfect for our family of three. Like the entire property, our room was decorated authentically, including an extensive art collection. Roomy...

We just returned home after spending a week at La Dona Luz. We stayed in the Yellow Bird Deer Suite with our 14 month old daughter. When we arrived the pack and play was set up in the sitting area. Having been just cleaned, it was spottless! The suite is beautiful and very comfortable, even with the pack and play....

Wed travel regularly from Colorado to far-south New Mexico and we usually spend a night in Taos along the way. We discovered Dona Luz several years ago and have made it our regular hotel in Taos. A simple B&B, not a super-fancy deluxe hotel. Very accommodating. Very clean. Very friendly. Constantly working to improve. Right in the heart of town....

Paco and his team are the best! We have never felt so at home while on vacation. La Dona Luz' location is within walking distance to all the best spots in Taos, like the town plaza and the best restaurant in town "Graham's Grille". This town is really, really small, so a short drive is all that is required to...
