Made a reservation for late September, 2016 in March, 2016. Day before my arrival date I was texted to tell me my room reservation was cancelled because they had overbooked. When I called for an explanation the clerk hung on me.

This was a nice hotel in it's day. With a little bit of work it could be great again. The room was clean. The clerk that worked the desk was very helpful. No air dryer in room but he managed to find me one Thank you, Very very cute hotel.

Nice staff--dirty room-- 'booked on line as we were driving in to town after reading other reviews--checked in--rushed to dinner--came back too tired to move out-- wish we had--can't get the dirty floor out of my mind! Keep looking!

We were booked at $79 a night and after examining the room we checked out and checked in elsewhere for $49 a night and the rooms were the same quality. Both were reasonably clean and about the same age. If the clerk could have matched rates we might have stayed with our original booking but that was not the case.

Being from Taos, I usually stay with family, but this was a quick business trip and I wanted a inexpensive one night place. I had stayed here when I was very young also and I must say it hasn't changed much..good and bad. The first room had a serious leak at the base of the toilet. Moved me and the...

This is not our first stay at the Sun God Lodge, so we decided to compare this stay with others. It has not changed much, that is a good thing. We like quiet and off the regular hotel circuit. This lodge is very much that. No frills, no breakfast, no happy hour or restaurant attached. Free to explore the wonderful...

Stayed at the Sun God Lodge 919 Paseo Del Pueblo, Taos, NM 87571, United States of America – Terrible. Bed was as comfortable as a barn door. The shower head sprayed water onto the wall. The bath towel was torn and had a hole in it the size of an orange. The hot tub lid was in the tub which...

We had two rooms, both almost identical. The rooms are clean and cute, with Southwestern themes. The bathrooms are ok, I'm adding pictures so you can see. Nothing fancy, just basic rooms. There are challenges: one building is empty due to plumbing issues, the hot tub wasn't working, and the ice machine was not working (but they had ice in...

Don't be put off by the outside appearance. The rooms are comfortable, clean and value for your money. We had upstairs rooms at the rear of the complex and it was away from the road noise. The checkin was efficient and friendly. It is handy to Taos Pueblo which is well worth a visit.
