My husband and I loved this place! We are frequent travelers who this time vacationed with another couple. We all had a wonderful time. Richard was a terrific host who spoiled us with yummy treats, fresh eggs to cook and access to his garden. He also gave great restaurant recommendations and "wow" massages. It was a very relaxing setting to...

My trip to New Mexico was highlighted by my stay at Casa Gallina. When my friend and I arrived, we were greeted by the wonderful hospitality of Richard. From the first moment into our casita, we were in love with it. From the fresh eggs each morning (from "the girls") to the evenings of delightful breezes, we were enticed by...

I opted to stay here at Casa Gallina based on all the TA reviews, and I certainly made the right decision. My husband & I stayed for only two nights, but we were tempted to stay longer because of the incredible accommodations. Our Bantam Roost casita was charming & comfortable. The fresh eggs and the added treats that Richard (the...

All of the prior positive comments are absolutely correct! A truly unique piece of heaven under the loving care of our host Richard--who also gives the greatest massage ever, according to the two ladies in our party. If you want a place where you can take the elevator down to the cocktail lounge, forget it. If, however you want to...

I never write reviews, even when I love a place, but this was my second trip to Casa Gallina and I just needed to make sure everyone, everywhere knew about this gem. I went with my sister 3 years ago and it was one of the most memorable trips I had ever had. Of course we had to go back...

Our trip to Taos was one of the most awesome of all the trips we have taken, made so in large part by the place we stayed. The place is called Casar Gallina and we were in the Leghorn suite. It was so great to have this incredible place to sneak off to, when we weren't busy sight seeing or...

I'm writing this on my final day at this wonderful property and I can't believe I have to leave. I could just stay here forever and be spoiled. We stayed in the delightful Bantam Roost a historic two story adobe. This property is in a rural location, very quiet and restful yet close to town. The decor is spectacular and...

After a 10 day Silent retreat in the wilderness, we were greeted by Richard with fresh local goat cheese, snacks, local fruit, chocolate, and wine in an incredibly romantic artisan casita. The surrounding green grounds with gazebo, hammock, bbq, fire pit, vegetable garden, fruit trees and outrageous flower gardens were a sight for sore eyes in transitioning from the wild...

Casa Gallina is not "technically" a B&B - there is no breakfast served each morning - but it is MUCH MORE! Richard provides fresh eggs each day from the resident hens - that's as fresh as they can get and they are delicious. Also beautiful - delicate pastel colors. Plus there is a garden from which you are encouraged to...

Richard is the most thoughtful and caring host around. Everything has been considered! His casitas are incredibly appointed in a global-meets-southwestern style. The property is manicured and yet naturally wabi sabi, sprawling and gorgeous. It's is an oasis in Taos. I can't wait to stay again. 40 gorgeous chickens just outside your window and the gift of their fresh eggs...
