Took all six rooms in the courtyard with our six couple motorcycle group on a recent riding tour. The Firewater with its ambience and eclectic rooms was just PERFECT. Damian was just excellent to deal with, property is convenient, clean, different and comfortable.

The room was beautiful, the tub was amazing (plenty of room for 2), and Damian was very friendly and helpful. Our room ended up being double booked one night so we received a surprise visit from Damian which was a bit awkward since I was still in my PJs, but since we had our paperwork we got to stay in...

The Fire Water Lodge was recommended to my wife and I for a great getaway. It was described to me as being very, "rustic." I can tell you that if you are looking for luxury and 4 or 5 stars lodging this is not it. In fact I think they purposely try not to be. And believe me this a...

We were looking for a retreat to get away from the pouring rain on the last day of our vacation. We looked up the reviews for hot springs (T or C) NM and decided to try it but only on the condition that the waters were INSIDE the room. Fire Water Lodge looked very iffy from the outside but after...

Since 2007, we've been going to Firewater Lodge for extended weekends as often as possible. Richard the owner and his son Damien have done a fine job upgrading and adding rooms with private pools and making the courtyard garden very beautiful and welcoming for guests. Having pools in almost every room is a big bonus! Great for having your own...

Needing a short escape & overdue for a good long soak, I got lucky and was able to book the Eucalyptus Room (#1) at the Fire Water Lodge. I have always wanted to stay in this room - it is spacious and has it's own, private outdoor hot mineral bath. The common courtyard area is attractive, and gives guests the...

Never having been to TorC, I found this place on the internet and was exceedingly happy with my choice. We loved it! The Fire Water Lodge had a charmingly retro feel, and, with it's mid-century courtyard, large and airily-eclectic rooms, and heavenly hot spring tubs, it's hard not to feel like you're in some 60's-era road trip movie. What's not...

My wife Lori and I chose the Waterfall Room and we loved it. It was peaceful, quiet and very nicely appointed. The tub, with its waterfall was unique and easily fit the two of us. The courtyard right outside our door was a great place to relax and eat lunch in. There is a great Italian restaurant right ehind the...

My partner and I left the world behind for three days of bliss floating in the outdoor tub in the Eucalyptus room. Between soaks, bike rides along the river, and short hikes around Elephant Butte Lake we reconnected and refocused on each other. The room was clean and neat, staff were friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was a...

To Everyone involved with the up keep and dad to day operation of FIRE WATER LODGE: we spent aug 16-18 at the lodge. The quietness is unbelievable. Rooms are spotless and beds are just the right softness/harness. Room9 needs an up grade on ac or it needs to be turned on early the morning of the arrival. The room was...
