First experience with my family (one children aged 8 months). Everything went smoothly for all the stay at Phinda, it was really great. The staff was very concern with our daughter and we left with wonderful family safari experiences and memories.

In January I think they wake you at 5am for a 5:30 drive. It's hot in Jan so down time is from about 10am to 3pm due to heat and humidity

I'm not sure actually The rooms are like small cottages all with their own plunge pools and decks Some are very private and others not so The further away from the main building, the more private and secluded.
