My wife and I stayed at Phinda rock lodge in July 2016. On the way to the lodge from the front gate we saw elephant, warthog, zebra, rhino widebeest and impala! Then standing at the entrance to the lodge itself was a giraffe, almost as if he was welcoming us. This was just an indication of what was to come...

Our family of four ( 2 parents and 2 20 year old girls) stayed at Rock Lodge after a stay at Forest Lodge. We had previously stayed at the Exeter River Lodge , another And Beyond Property in Sabie sands. While Forest was lovely, it was not quite as comfortable for us as we had hoped so And Beyond graciously...

Our family all stayed at Rock Lodge for my husband's 60th birthday in May and I cannot put into words the little bit of magic we all shared. We had, in our opinion, the best ranger/tracker team in Nikki and Musa who went out of their way to provide a safari experience that we believe will never be equalled. They...

Attended a friends wedding at Phinda and stayed 4 evenings. The Rangers, trackers, and staff were all top shelf. Game excursions were exciting and informative. Accommodations luxurious but comfortable. Dining was exceptional. Would highly recommend this phenomenal experience to anyone interested in a a memory of a lifetime

This was my first visit to South Africa and first safari experience. Talk about being spoilt at the Phinda Rock Lodge. Driving into the reserve was exciting in itself, catching my first sightings of zebra and impala wandering across the beautiful bush. We were then greeted with welcome drinks and refreshing towels, which set the tone for the attentiveness and...

Situated in the Northern part of the park, Rock Lodge could be considered very exclusive accommodation as there are only 6 rooms at the Lodge. The lodge itself is very quaint and cosy and there is a great views over the bush where we saw elephants walking past and other game. Breakfast on the deck on our last morning was...

We stayed here for one night after two nights at Forest. Rock is a far more traditional African styled lodge. It is also smaller and private. I personally prefer a more social lodge like Forest, with pool area to meet offer guests. Rock rooms have a great private pool and large rooms. I think Rock would suit a maturer clientele...

I have never had a experience like this in my life and probably never will. The And Beyond resorts are just magnificent and a must-do once in your life. While our experience was understandably enriched by the amazing safari experience, hats off to And Beyond for maintaining such a tranquil and enjoyable game reserve. The rooms were just spendid -...

I would like to thank once again where you Jayne Smith decided to accommodate us as honeymooners, at the Rock Lodge. It's such an intimate and romantic, the ultimate honeymoon hiding place. Boutique style first class accommodation/ private castle with your own terrace and plunge pool, tucked away in the mountains overlooking the bush. The food was delicious, the Rock...

Rock Lodge has 6 rooms and is situated on the side of a hill. The property itself and rooms are outstanding. There is a day bed, table and chairs and a plunge pool on the terrace of every room. We stayed in Room 2 which was extremely comfortable and we wished we were staying longer than 2 nights. The food...
