This is such an amazing place. Stayed in the log cabin which was luxurious and absolutely clean. In the midst of nature, it was relaxation at its best. The food at the resort was absolutely superb. The service excellent. A most amazing place. Will definitely visit again.

A great escape from busy city living. Our faniky of 8 stayed at the Estate which is a renovated farm house. Very comfortable set up with large rooms, well equipped kitchen, fireplace with free wood, Dstv, electric blankets on the beds, a cleaning lady every day, and a stunning view of the mountain and dam. No cellphone reception though but...

We visited rainbow valley for a weekend at the end of May. We stayed in Log Cabin 2 and had a great time. The lodge is so peaceful and the location ensures that you can completely relax without any distractions. The log cabins are the perfect accommodation option for a couple wanting to enjoy a relaxing weekend away, the view...

We stayed in the Manor House. The service received was excellent, from the check-in right up to check-out. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Each day a different menu was served with various delicious items such as the ox-tail or the cellery and apple soup. The fishing facilities was top class. the dams are surrounded with well kept graas verges...

Peaceful, friendly, clean - excellent hostesses. Close to God and nature. A must visit for people who love nature, and need a good rest. Not far from Middelburg and Dullstroom. Food well prepared and taste excellent. Friendly staff and management. Lock cabin, clean and neat. No complains, thank you for a lovely week-end.

We stayed here for two nights for my birthday. One night in the manor house (outdated, noisy, no view or patio) and the second night in the log cabin. I would recommend the log cabin any day-it was a real experience being in the bush, secluded and so quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay there but the minor house needs...

Heaven on earth. Stayed in the wooden cabins, and it was majical. Quiet and tranquil. Watched rugby (SA vs Sco) in the Main house with the other visitors, which led to a great admosphere. The 5-course dinner is a must. The best restaurants in Sandton don't serve such good food. Will definitely return one day

Pieter and Claudine were excellent hosts. The dinner was amazing too. A fantastic getaway and good trout fishing destination. Stunning views of the valley. About 24 kilometers from Dullstroom, on a dirt road though.

The most outstanding feature of this hidden gem was the personal touch of the managers and the staff, who were very welcoming, hospitable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. We stayed in the Manor House, which has a ranch-style, almost 'Mexican hacienda' feel on the exterior and throughout the reception areas, and a...
