This was our second visit to Ulusaba, my husband and I are just addicted to this wonderful place. We stayed one night at the rock lodge, which has an amazing view and 3 nights down at safari (Elephant room which is our FAV) so close to the animals you can nearly touch them. Being an animal and nature lover I...

Flying into Ulusaba's private airstrip in the middle of the bush in a small commuter plane is exciting enough, but the best is still to come. We stayed at both the Safari and Rock Lodges, both being very different offering the best of both worlds. The staff, rangers and trackers were all very welcoming yet professional and could not do enough...

This is a one of a kind safari/lodge experience. Went in April so it was a bit cool at times but the animals were fantastic and the guides even better. To top things off the food and accommodations were incredible. If you only go to Africa once - stay here!

Having never been on safari before, I did not know what to expect. I knew I would see animals, but this stay ended up being so much more. A quote I quite like is "being in the bush is a privilege, and anything you see is a bonus." This is total immersion: two long wonderful rides per day, with the...

I have visited Ulusaba 5 times in the last 2 years and once again my visit has exceeded all expectations. I spent 10 nights in the treehouse at Safari Lodge, people say it's a 15 minute walk from the main lodge but I found it not to be so long, I guess if you're taking a leisurely stroll it would...

Well I can't really say much more than I did the last time I wrote a review. This was our second time at Ulusaba and we were welcomed back so warmly...as if we were part of the family. Again this was another stunning stay and if you are on the fence about booking, then just do it. You will not...

We stayed at Ulusaba for 3 nights (and 6 game drives) at the end of a South Africa holiday, and what a great way to finish! The team made us feel like part of the family right from our landing at the airstrip, through to a farewell 3 days later. The service was attentive throughout and nothing was too much...

For the last leg of our South Africa honeymoon, my husband and I stayed at Ulusaba, largely due to the TripAdvisor reviews, online pictures, and the Richard Branson name. I worried that our experience couldn’t possibly match our expectations, and I was right … it far exceeded them! Ulusaba managed to give us a luxury experience in the most rustic...

We stayed at Safari Lodge and Rock Lodge for a week in November 2014 and it was exactly what we expected + that extra bit more that makes this places really special. As some mentioned before, the Rock Lodges have a breath-taking view of the scenery, while in the Safari Lodge you are set more into the scenery. We prefered...
