We spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Watercourt Lodge. The Lodge is under new ownership so the restaurant was closed and our stay didn't include breakfast. This wasn't a problem as there are some wonderful restaurants a stone's throw away from the lodge, some of the best being Jam Tarts for all day breakfast, The Country Pumpkin for breakfast...

Lisle-Anne is the perfect host she makes you feel like you have come home for a visit. She made our stay very special. Lize -Anne is the perfect host and the team is efficient and friendly. The rooms are clean with an electric blanket on the bed for the cold winter nights in Barrydale. The food was delicious and well presented.

The extremely reasonable price attracted our attention. The outstanding service and hospitality from Lisle-Anne and her wonderful staff, and the fantastic meals, are all truly indicative of this home from home in the Little Karoo.

Lisle-Anne is the perfect host! She made us feel at home immediately and nothing was too much trouble for her. Although we only stayed one night, we couldn't have asked for better accommodation. Centrally placed but quiet and well run, Watercourt is very well placed to be the best value overnight stop i have come across in the Cape. Friendly atmosphere and all the services necessary. Great value for a budget traveller.

Today we passed through Barrydale and looked for a place just to stop for a moment. We ended up at the Watercourt Lodge. We stayed here for 1 night as we were passing through from Outsdhoorn to Napier. Wished we could of stayed longer, Lisle-Anna the owner made us feel very much at home.
