This was one of the most unexpectedly amazing towns we have ever visited and this little restaurant was equally amazing. I can guarantee there are few places as unique as this from its service to food. It has this most uniquely "homely" feel but at the same time the food has a strong focus on quality, taste and freshness. The...

Stopped with friends for breakfast - had an omelette with savoury mince and mushrooms. The breakfast was great, timely and the coffee was awesome. The owner / host was very attentive and felt very much at home! Will stop by again for sure!

Sandy and her team dish up real South African favourites in a very pretty garden court yard setting. The restaurant also houses a lovely little shop which sells clothing and home made cakes and pies which you can take home with you.

We were a party of 8 - stopped for lunch on our way through. Glad we did, lovely courtyard although we chose to eat in the quaint restaurant inside. Well constructed menu with something for everyone on there. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent. Quality of food was excellent with generous portions. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely setting at the back of the house/shopfront. Best to order from the chefs recommendations. Good food and excellent service - value for money. Sandy the owner is s gracious host and a master chef. The goodies for sale in the shop are well worth spending time on.

We stopped for breakfast - the meal was well portioned and tasty. The staff are friendly and lovely to chat to. We sat at a nice table with the winter son on our back - delightful. Would stop again for a meal while travelling.

Good food at the restaurant. Great staff and a lovely garden. Excellent quiche and other treats from the deli, which we bought to take back to our self-catering cottage for breakfast the next day. They also sell nuts, honey, and dried figs and other goods in the shop.

The gas station attendant recommended the Rose of Karoo to us and we enjoyed a very nice light meal there. The owner is very helpful and has a delightful personality, and she has stocked her store with a wide variety of locally baked goods (both sweet and savoury), and gifts. There are tables inside as well as on the rear...

We stopped here on a trip to Die Hell. What a lovely place to relax and have a cup of coffee out in the garden. It was sunny but cool day, but the back garden was protected and warm. I had an home made apple crumble with my coffee while my wife had the soap of the day. We enjoyed...
