The Yellow Aloe Guest House is a lovely spot in the quiet town of Clanwilliam. It was a great place to relax and a good base to explore the surrounding area. We spent 3 nights there in winter and really enjoyed the roaring fire in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We travelled with 2 small children and ate at...

The Yellow Aloe is a wonderful B&B. It is quaint in style, clean and the staff are welcoming. There are two beautiful swimming pools which are well maintained. The breakfast offered is lovely. I highly recommend this B&B.

This little gem tucked away in the town of Clanwilliam is well worth a visit. Cedar mountain behind gives it beautiful views. The garden is full of different birds so great for bird enthusiasts. The rooms are well sized clean and very comfortable. We arrived yesterday just ahead of a sand storm which knocked the power out for about an...

We spent a night at The Longhouse, part of The Yellow Aloe. Charming hostess, lovely clean, spacious accommodation. The breakfast was included in the rate, and was very good. Great place to overnight in Clanwilliam!

My husband and I recently stayed at Yellow Aloe for 3 nights and couldn't have had a more restful, relaxed and enjoyable stay. This was a wild card stop on our honeymoon - neither of us had ever heard of Clanwilliam before - and didn't quite know what to expect. It blew us away and was totally up our alley!...

A beautiful restored house makes up for the main house of this guest house. We were allocated a room away from the main house called The Longhouse. When we arrived there was a note to say that this part of town was without electricity due to a storm the previous night. This is acceptable and one can understand this situation....

Spent a couple of nights here. This place has a lovely, laid-back country ambiance. The hosts and staff are all very friendly, kind, and generous with advice on the local sights and hikes. The dinners were, hands down, among the best (vegetarian) meals we have had in SA. Will definitely stay here again the next time we're up in Cederberg.

We had a short, but very comfortable stay at the Yellow Aloe Guest House. In spite of a power outage caused by a storm, the owners and staff did their best to see that we were comfortable, and were very friendly and helpful during a stressful time. And, we were very taken by the gardens and decor. A good place...

We stayed here on our way to Namibia and were blown away by it! The gardens are absolutely lovely, the Guest House has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished. The items for sale are great fun - metal signs and plants and the like. It was different! The rooms were very comfortable, the food was excellent and they couldn't do enough...

Stayed at the Yellow Aloe with a touring party. Absolutely fabulous! Congrats to Cheryl, Megs and their team on running such a friendly and simply wonderful establishment. We were welcomed with open arms, nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, best service! Thank you. Definitely will come back in flower season.
