First this a motel, drive up to outside doors, It is an older hotel but has been kept up well and it was CLEAN. They have updated the bathroom, very nice. I would have given them a 3+ review, but the sheets in my room were horrible, pilled and so rough they were difficult to sleep on. If it hadn't...

Room was clean and spacious. The parking lot was constantly full of cars and we saw quite a few people, but we never heard anything once we got into our room -- it was very quiet. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Heating/A/C worked very well. Microwave and fridge in room -- fridge was small. Shower and toilet in room...

We selected this hotel based on (a) TripAdvisor reviews and (b) Proximity to the Caverns. The property looks old but you can tell they are keeping it up. Our room was huge and rather stark, but it was clean and comfortable. The television had poor reception; maybe because the hotel is so far from everything. The fellow who checked us...

This is a very well maintained and managed motel. I had one minor problem, but not serious enough to deter from recommending it. Three tiny nails were sticking up through the carpet. I reported it to the front desk and to housekeeping. It had not been taken care of prior to my departure, but I was confident they would handle...

I wasn't expecting much from a motel located away from a town, but it was a pleasant surprise to discover how nice the place is. The room was modern, very clean, very quiet, and very comfortable. There is a microwave, fridge, and TV set in the room. The built in air conditioner cooler/heater was in excellent shape...quiet and functional. As...

We were pleased with our room. We were only there one night. The room was large and had all the amenities we needed, like a fridge and coffee maker. The breakfast was simple. We took it back to our room because there's no seating. It was no problem at all though and we were happy with it. I recommend this...

We chose this motel solely for its closeness to Carlsbad Caverns, and that really is a big plus: It allows you to get to the National Park before it gets crowded later in the morning. Have that no-frills breakfast that's on offer in the lobby, preferably by taking it to your no-frills room and then head out to the Caverns....

This is an older hotel, but the location for the parks is the best available. The room was very large, there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The hotel is located about 45 minutes from Guadalupe and 15 from Carlsbad. It sits at a crossroads where there is a well-stocked gift shop, convenience store (with more stuffed animals...

We stayed in Room 236 near the back of the property and were quite comfortable. The beds are more on the firm side but we slept well. The room itself was clean and met our standards. We are comfortable in most mid-range motels. The price was $100/night and you are paying a little more for the convenience of being close...

This is a good, basic hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable and the property is well maintained. We recommend this hotel if you are going to be visiting the area and the caverns.
