Getting there, especially the last few kilometers was quite a mission. You definitely need a good 4 x 4. Even the campsite itself is very sandy and cars getting stuck. I've read a couple of complaints about the campsite staff, which I honestly can't share. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. There are a lot of elephants walking...

This was our first safari camp and we thought it was great. Our "chalet" was very clean and well appointed. The bathroom was somewhat spartan but clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our chalet looked out on a waterhole and so we had lots of elephants all night! They can be loud ...but we were in their territory....

This campsite used to be a stunning place to visit, but it is ruined now since they have stuck a luxury lodge in the camp site. They have put their huge generator right in the middle of the camp site, in the ablutions, which you hear running all day into the evening. No more peace and tranquility. On one occasion,...

The campsite itself is ok although very sandy and dusty but if you got here your 4x4 will be fine. The ablutions are fairly good and reasonably clean with limited solar hot water. Each site has a tap with running water and a fireplace but little else. There is limited shade so it gets very hot in the summer months...

Listening to the gentle rumble of lions in the evening and wake up to elephant spoor in the middle of your camp. The overall cleanliness of the camp is brilliant. The bird life being very tame, especially the red billed spur-fowl. The dwarf mongooses that lived under the concrete tables were a treat in entertainment value, along with the southern...

This camp is extremely well done in basically all respects. The accommodations (semi-permanent tents) and service are impeccable. The game drives were great and were both enjoyable and obviously well targeted (we saw everything! good work KG!) . The only downside is the price. As many previous reviews have pointed out, this is a top notch luxury lodge and prices...

Came here self-drive through 'Drive Botswana' on our 20th wedding anniversary trip. This was our first 'bush-camp'. We were a bit late arriving, but the guides Johnson and Kennedy were waiting for us worried. They whisked us off on fantastic game drives: 4 leopards in two days. The lodge accommodation was great, the food excellent considering the location, staff friendly....

But when tllling the price for a night i thought thee lady is kidding! What is the reason that europeans have to pay4times more for a campsite then SA people? So...

We camped two nights in Savuti. An important remark: the road to the camp is very sandy. Whether you come from the north or from the south, it's always a challenge. Even if you, like us, opts for the Marsh Road, you can expect a tiring ride. The latter is admittedly not so difficult because of the sand but because...

This is the second time we have camped here, the access is a challenge, there was lots of game to view on the way so we didn't mind driving really slowly and taking our time. The campsite is well laid out with a central protected ablution block plenty of hot water and washing lines to use. Elephants can and do...
