After an hour flight from Maun, in a 6-seater, we arrived at a landing strip, and were greeted by our guide for the next four days. The 'game drive' started right there on the drive to the camp in an open Land Cruiser, with roof...More

Thank you for your wonderfully detailed review of Zarafa Camp, a luxury safari camp and the only Relais & Chateaux property in Botswana. Being such a small camp allows us to be completely flexible in timings of meals and activities, with times for wake ups...More
Best camp ever, super management, great guide and wonderfull tents, we saw a lot of spectacular things, it was really full of game there! There is WiFi, but they should keep that a secret, don't spoil the impression that you are in the Bush, remote.......More

Thank you for your review of Zarafa Camp, we appreciate you taking the time. Thank you for your suggestion on the wifi. We keep the wifi limited to the comfort of the luxury tents only, to keep with that remote feeling when we gather for...More
Reuben, our guide, was a magician. My wife wanted to see giraffes, so he got us close to multiple giraffes. We wanted to see lions, so he found us a mother, niece and three cubs to observe a number of times over the two days...More

Thank you for sharing your experience in such wonderful detail. We're happy you enjoyed your time with professional guide (and master tracker) Reuben. At Zarafa Camp in The Selinda Reserve, we are fortunate to have herds of elephants pass through camp, especially during the driest...More
My wife and I just finished our honeymoon in Botswana. Among three stellar camps, Zarafa stood head-and-shoulders above the others. The physical setting on a bountiful lagoon is stunning. From the deck, we saw hippos, elephants, impalas, lechwe, hyenas and (even) a leopard. The rooms...More

What a wonderful review, thank you so much for your kind words. We loved hosting you at Zarafa for your honeymoon and surprising you along the way. The camp looks out over Zibadianja lagoon which attracts much wildlife, particularly during the driest winter months from...More
Our first time to Zarafa - we have substantial experience in Botswana - Zarafa deserves its high rank. The food and service stand out in particular. The proximity of great game viewing as well as very well kitted game drive vehicles made the game drives...More

No wifi at all, electricity in the room always, hairdryer not available at first in the room but their service is great and I bet if you ask the staff they will bring you one. Make sure to do it during the day because I only thought of asking after showering at night, went half way to the lobby but got scared of animal noises and came back running to the room, sleeping with my hair wet (and maybe saving my life) hehe
