My family and I stayed at 4 of the Sanctuary Retreats, Sussi & Chuma, Chobe Chilwero, Stanley's Camp, and Chief's Camp (in that order), 2 nights at each camp. We did not use a tour company and instead booked through Sanctuary Retreats with the help...More
This is a beautiful safari camp, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, very high quality accommodation and great catering. Hello, I don't remember, I think around $250 US. It was well worth it and the money goes to support the 3 elephants. Their care is not cheap! You can follow them on Facebook at Living with Elephants Foundation. It was a very informative and interactive experience. Having lunch with them after was a surreal experience.
Have a great time.

Hi Lori - November is the ‘Green Season’ is when the air is fresh and there are rains - everything comes back to life again after enduring the long hot summer. Our local Operations Director says “This is my favourite time of the year. After the arid summers I look forward to cool temperatures and everything turns green”. Usually the skies are bright and sunny in the mornings and sometimes cloud rolls in during the afternoons and there can be thunderstorms.
However, remember the weather in Africa is unpredictable these days so we can never be sure!
Hope that helps, Sanctuary Retreats
